Regulated Unit definition

Regulated Unit means any new or existing surface impoundment, landfill, land treatment area or waste pile that receives any danger- ous waste after:
Regulated Unit means a surface impoundment, waste pile and land treatment unit or landfill that received hazardous waste after July 26, 1982 and is subject to the requirements of 40 CFR 264.91 through 264.100 for detecting, characterizing and responding to releases in the uppermost aquifer.
