Rehabilitation Standards means the applicable local or state standards for the rehabilitation of historical properties, including any higher standards adopted by the local agency as part of its historical rehabilitation financing program and including standards established pursuant to Part 2.7 (commencing with Section 18950) of Division 13, except that, for properties listed on or eligible for listing on the National Register of Historical Places, "rehabilitation standards" shall mean, at a minimum, those standards set forth by the United States Department of Interior as "The Secretary of Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation and Guidelines for Rehabilitating Historic Buildings" as those standards may be applicable to any particular historical rehabilitation.

  • In the absence of locally adopted and enforced building or housing codes, the requirements of the most current version of Iowa’s Minimum Housing Rehabilitation Standards shall apply (all communities with populations of 15,000 or less).

  • Rehabilitation Plan means a written plan designed to enable the Employee to return to work. The Rehabilitation Plan will consist of one or more of the following phases:

  • Rehabilitation means the repair, renovation, alteration or reconstruction of any building or structure, pursuant to the Rehabilitation Subcode, N.J.A.C. 5:23-6.

  • Community rehabilitation program means a program that provides directly or facilitates the provision of one or more of the following vocational rehabilitation services to individuals with disabilities to enable those individuals to maximize their opportunities for employment, including career advancement:

  • Vocational rehabilitation services means the unit of vocational rehabilitation established in IC 12-12-1-2(2) as a unit of the rehabilitation services bureau in DDRS.

  • Rehabilitative services means specialized services provided by a therapist or a therapist’s assistant to a resident to attain optimal functioning, including, but not limited to, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and audiology.

  • Rehabilitation counseling services means services provided by qualified personnel in individual or group sessions that focus specifically on career development, employment preparation, achieving independence, and integration in the workplace and community of a student with a disability. The term also includes vocational rehabilitation services provided to a student with disabilities by vocational rehabilitation programs funded under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.

  • Rehabilitative employment means work in Any Occupation for which your training, education or experience will reasonably allow. The work must be approved by a Physician or a licensed or certified rehabilitation specialist approved by us. Rehabilitative Employment includes work performed while Partially Disabled, but does not include performing all the material duties of your Regular Occupation on a full-time basis.

  • Cosmetic Surgery means any Surgery, service, Drug or supply designed to improve the appearance of an individual by alteration of a physical characteristic which is within the broad range of normal but which may be considered unpleasing or unsightly, except when necessitated by an Injury.

  • New Jersey Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP) Manual or “BMP Manual” means the manual maintained by the Department providing, in part, design specifications, removal rates, calculation methods, and soil testing procedures approved by the Department as being capable of contributing to the achievement of the stormwater management standards specified in this chapter.   • Conservation Plan means a document that outlines how a project site will be managed using best management practices to avoid potential negative environmental impacts.
