Request for Expression of Interest definition

Request for Expression of Interest or “RFEOI” means a public request made by the Corporation seeking responses from potential Suppliers for the purposes of compiling a list of Suppliers who may be interested in providing Goods and/or Services to the Corporation from time to time. Receipt of an expression of interest by the Corporation does not create any obligation between the potential Supplier and the Corporation, but may be a precondition to qualifying for subsequent Bid Solicitations issued by the Corporation;

Request for Expression of Interest or ‘REOI’ means a focused market research tool used to determine supplier interest in a proposed procurement. It may be issued simultaneously with a Request for Qualifications (RFQUAL) when the proposed procurement is well defined and the purchaser has clear expectations for the procurement.

Request for Expression of Interest means a request by the County seeking responses from potential Vendors for the purpose of determining the interest of the marketplace in providing goods or services contemplated to be procured by the County.

Request for Expression of Interest or “RFEOI” means the process described in this document; and

Request for Expression of Interest. (RFEI) means a solicitation to prospective proposers on a procurement opportunity. An RFEI may be issued in advance of an RFP to assist in the development of a more definitive set of terms and conditions, scope of work or service and the selection of qualified proposers.
