Residence Hall Policy definition

Residence Hall Policy. This contract is made in consideration of the fact that the student will be accepted for admission to the university or will be enrolled in an approved university-sponsored program. All students who have completed less than 60 earned hours and are under 21 years of age are required to live in university residence halls or receive an off-campus permit. Students are not required to live on campus during summer semesters. Residence hall spaces are not provided for families. Available space is determined by the Residence Life Department. Students will abide by all policies stated in the university General Bulletin, Student Handbook and the Community Guidelines. Admission to the university does not guarantee a residence hall assignment, and submitting a request does not guarantee a space will be available. The university reserves the right, at its discretion, to determine that the interests of the university, the student, and/or other students would be best served by alteration or cancellation of the Residence Hall Contract. If the university becomes aware that a student has a record of criminal conviction(s) or other actions indicating behavior that could pose a risk to person or property and/or could be injurious or disruptive to the residence hall community or the living/learning environment, the university may not accept or may immediately terminate the contract. Registered sex offenders are not permitted to reside in campus residence halls. Residence Life Terms: • Units are defined as a resident(s) room in a facility. • Residential meal plans are required in all residence halls except units with a full kitchen. • Residence hall charges are defined as room fees. • Breaks are defined as Thanksgiving, winter, spring, and Easter break.

  • The completed report should be filed with the appropriate Disciplinary Officer: Violation Officer Residence Hall Policy Residence Director Academic Integrity Faculty Member or Academic Xxxx Standards of Conduct Xxxx of Students Vehicle Policy Director of Campus Police If the report needs clarification, elaboration or merits further investigation, it will be the disciplinary officer's responsibility to gather facts and data to help assure a fair resolution.

Related to Residence Hall Policy

  • Business Travel Policy means our business travel policy. A copy of our current Business Travel Policy is attached as Schedule 1 to Exhibit B.

  • Insurance holding company system means a group of two or more affiliated persons, at least one of whom is an insurer.

  • Specified Insurance Company means any Entity that is an insurance company (or the holding company of an insurance company) that issues, or is obligated to make payments with respect to, a Cash Value Insurance Contract or an Annuity Contract.

  • Procurement Policy means ADB’s Procurement Policy – Goods, Works, Nonconsulting and Consulting Services (2017, as amended from time to time);

  • R&W Policy means a representation and warranty insurance policy for the benefit of Buyer obtained in connection with this Agreement on the terms described on Schedule 1.01 of the Buyer Disclosure Schedule.

  • Halifax Abuse Principle means the principle explained in the CJEU Case C-255/02 Halifax and others;

  • Community association means an association in which membership is a condition of ownership or shareholder interest of a unit in a condominium, cooperative, townhouse, villa, or other residential unit that is part of a residential development plan as a master association or common interest community and that is authorized to impose an assessment and other costs that may become a lien on the unit or lot.

  • Travel Insurance means coverage for personal risks incidental to planned travel, including one or more of the following:

  • Life insurance means contracts that incorporate mortality risk, including annuity and pure endowment contracts, and as may be specified in the valuation manual.

  • Evidence of coverage means any certificate, agreement or contract issued to an enrollee setting out the coverage to which the enrollee is entitled.

  • Procurement Policy Board or “PPB” shall mean the board established pursuant to Charter § 311 whose function is to establish comprehensive and consistent procurement policies and rules which have broad application throughout the City.

  • Long-term care insurance means group insurance that is authorized by the retirement system for retirants, retirement allowance beneficiaries, and health insurance dependents, as that term is defined in section 91, to cover the costs of services provided to retirants, retirement allowance beneficiaries, and health insurance dependents, from nursing homes, assisted living facilities, home health care providers, adult day care providers, and other similar service providers.

  • Insurance Companies means the companies with whom the Insurance Policies are held.

  • Group Policy /”policy” means the breakdown policy as set out in this document;
