Retail Category definition

Retail Category means the portion of the Offer being not more than 10% of the Offer, which shall be available for allocation to Retail Individual Investors in accordance with the SEBI ICDR Regulations, which shall not be less than the minimum Bid lot, subject to availability in the Retail Category.
Retail Category means Portion of the Net Offer being not less than 35% of the Net Offer which shall be available for allocation to Retail Individual Bidders (subject to valid Bids being received at or above the Offer Price), which shall not be less than the minimum Bid Lot subject to availability in the Retail Portion.

Examples of Retail Category in a sentence

  • The Allotment of specified securities to each RII shall not be less than the minimum Bid Lot, subject to availability of shares in the Retail Category, and the remaining available shares, if any, shall be Allotted on a proportionate basis.

  • If the aggregate demand in this category is less than or equal to the Retail Category at or above the Offer Price, full Allotment may be made to the RIIs to the extent of the valid Bids.
