Review Surveyor definition

Review Surveyor means an independent chartered surveyor appointed under paragraph 3 of schedule 5 and, if to be nominated by or on behalf of the President for the time being of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the President shall be requested to nominate an independent chartered surveyor having recent substantial experience in the letting and valuation of premises of a similar character and quality to those of the Premises,
Review Surveyor means an independent chartered surveyor who is an independent chartered surveyor having not less than ten years practice next before the date of his appointment and recent substantial experience in the letting and valuation of premises of a similar character and quality to those of the Premises and who is a partner or director of a leading firm or company of surveyors having specialist market and valuation knowledge of such premises
Review Surveyor means an independent chartered surveyor appointed pursuant to paragraph 4(1) of this schedule and if to be nominated by or on behalf of the President for the time being of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors the said President to be requested to nominate an independent chartered surveyor having not less than ten years practice in the City of London next before the date of his appointment and recent substantial experience in the letting and valuation of office premises of a similar character and quality to those of the Premises and who is a Partner or director of a leading firm or company of surveyors having specialist market and valuation knowledge of such premises.

Examples of Review Surveyor in a sentence

  • If the Review Surveyor fails to give notice of his determination within the allotted time, or if he dies, is unwilling to act, or becomes incapable of acting, or if, for any other reason, he is unable to act, the Landlord or the Tenant may request the President to discharge the Review Surveyor and appoint another surveyor in his place to act in the same capacity, which procedure may be repeated as many times as necessary.

  • In default of agreement between PropCo and Elder Care Co on the appointment of the Review Surveyor, the Review Surveyor shall be appointed by the President on the written application of either party, such application to be made not earlier than six months nor later than one month before the Market Review Date, provided that PropCo may not make such an application to the President until Elder Care Co has made an election or is deemed to have made an election in accordance with paragraph 5 of this Schedule.

  • In default of agreement between the Landlord and the Tenant on the appointment of the Review Surveyor, the Review Surveyor shall be appointed by the President on the written application of either party, such application to be made not earlier than three (3) months before the Relevant Review Date and not later than the next succeeding Review Date.

  • If the Review Surveyor dies, is unwilling to act, or becomes incapable of acting, or if, for any other reason, he is unable to act, the Landlord or the Tenant may request the President to discharge the Review Surveyor and appoint another surveyor in his place to act in the same capacity, which procedure may be repeated as many times as necessary.

Review Surveyor means an independent chartered surveyor of not less than ten (10) years’ experience of valuing and leasing property similar in nature to the Assumed Premises in the City of London appointed from time to time under this clause 5 to determine the Open Market Rent.
