Risk Retention Period definition

Risk Retention Period. The period from the Closing Date until the date on which the Credit Risk Retention Rules have been officially repealed or abolished in their entirety or officially determined by the relevant regulatory agencies to be no longer applicable to the transaction or the RR Interest.

Risk Retention Period shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6.9.
Risk Retention Period. A period that will commence on and include the Closing Date and will end on the date that is the latest of: (i) the date on which the total unpaid principal balance of the securitized assets that collateralize the securitization transaction has been reduced to 33% of the total unpaid principal balance of the securitized assets as of the closing of the securitization transaction; (ii) the date on which the total unpaid principal obligations under the asset-backed securities issued in the securitization transaction has been reduced to 33% of the total unpaid principal obligations of the asset-backed securities at closing of the securitization transaction; and (iii) two years after the closing date of the securitization transaction.
