Examples of Safeguard Policies in a sentence
There are key 10 Environmental and Social World Bank Safeguard Policies which are intended to ensure that potentially adverse environmental and social consequences of projects financed by Bank are identified, minimized and mitigated.
These could result in environmental and social impacts thus triggering the World Bank’s Safeguard Policies including Environmental Assessment OP 4.01; Involuntary Resettlement OP4.12; Natural Habitats OP 4.04; Physical Cultural Resources OP 4.11, and Safety of Dams OP 4.37 and Public Disclosure OP 17.60.
It is pursuance to this that this RAP was prepared as part of the World Bank's Environmental and Social Safeguard Policies.

It will ensure that the applicable GoE rules and regulations as well as AfDB Safeguard Policies and Procedures are enforced.
The World Bank has 10 + 2 Safeguard Policies to reduce or eliminate the negative environmental and social impacts of potential projects, and improve decision making.
Generally, the objective of the World Bank's Environmental and Social Safeguard Policies is to prevent and mitigate undue harm to people and their environment in the development process.
As Myanmar legislative framework is expected to continue developing throughout the life of the Project, appropriate gap analysis will be carried out to fill the possible gaps between National Regulation and World Bank Group Safeguard Policies.
