Salary Deferral Amount definition

Salary Deferral Amount means the percentage of the Participant’s Salary that the Participant elects to defer to this Plan pursuant to Section 4.1. Such percentage shall be indicated on the Election Form.
Salary Deferral Amount means the Salary Deferral Amount which the Participant elects to contribute pursuant to Article III.
Salary Deferral Amount means the amount or percentage of a Participant’s salary that the Participant elects to contribute to the Plan pursuant to Article III.

Examples of Salary Deferral Amount in a sentence

  • During each Plan Year, the Base Annual Salary Deferral Amount will be withheld from each regularly scheduled Base Annual Salary payroll in equal amounts, as adjusted from time to time for increases and decreases in Base Annual Salary.

  • A Participant may only elect to have deferred as a Salary Deferral Amount a whole percentage not to exceed eighty-five percent (85%) of such Salary for a Payroll Period.

  • A Participant who is an Eligible Employee may elect to have an amount of his or her Salary for each Payroll Period in a Plan Year deferred as a Salary Deferral Amount.

  • The Participant’s Salary Deferral Amount and Bonus Deferral Amount shall be withheld from the Participant’s compensation and credited to the Participant’s Account hereunder as soon as practicable after such salary or bonus would (but for the operation of this Plan) have been paid to the Participant, but no later than thirty (30) days after such salary or bonus would have been paid to the Participant.

  • Any such termination under this Plan shall not be effective with respect to amounts previously deferred.


More Definitions of Salary Deferral Amount

Salary Deferral Amount means the dollar amount or percentage of Salary to be withheld from an Eligible Executive’s Salary, as shown on a Participant’s Salary Deferral Election form.
Salary Deferral Amount means that portion of an Eligible Employee's Base Salary that he has elected to defer, as provided in Section 5.2.
Salary Deferral Amount means that portion of an Eligible Employee's salary which he has elected to defer, as provided in Section 4.2.
Salary Deferral Amount means the Salary Deferral Amount which the Participant elects to contribute to the Plan pursuant to a valid Election form in accordance with the provisions of Article III.

Related to Salary Deferral Amount

  • Annual Deferral Amount means that portion of a Participant's Base Annual Salary and Annual Bonus that a Participant elects to have, and is deferred, in accordance with Article 3, for any one Plan Year. In the event of a Participant's Retirement, Disability (if deferrals cease in accordance with Section 8.1), death or a Termination of Employment prior to the end of a Plan Year, such year's Annual Deferral Amount shall be the actual amount withheld prior to such event.

  • Deferral Amount means the sum of all of a Participant's Annual Deferral Amounts.

  • Matching Contribution means an Employer contribution made to this or any other defined contribution plan on behalf of a Participant on account of a Participant's Deferral Contribution.

  • Elective Deferral means the portion of Compensation which is deferred by a Participant under Section 4.1.

  • Elective Deferrals are all Salary Reduction Contributions and that portion of any Cash or Deferred Contribution which the Employer contributes to the Trust at the election of an Eligible Employee. Any portion of a Cash or Deferred Contribution contributed to the Trust because of the Employee's failure to make a cash election is an elective deferral. However, any portion of a Cash or Deferred Contribution over which the Employee does not have a cash election is not an elective deferral. Elective deferrals do not include amounts which have become currently available to the Employee prior to the election nor amounts designated as nondeductible contributions at the time of deferral or contribution.

  • Matching Contributions means local cash and/or in-kind contributions made by the Subrecipient, subcontractor, or other local resources that qualify as match for the Contract funding.

  • Deferral Account means the Company's accounting of the Director's accumulated Deferrals plus accrued interest.

  • Plan Year means the calendar year.

  • Matching Contribution Account means the separate, individual account established on behalf of a Participant to which the Matching Contributions made on such Participant's behalf are credited, together with all earnings and appreciation thereon, and against which are charged any withdrawals, loans and other distributions made from such account and any losses, depreciation or expenses allocable to amounts credited to such account.
