Sewage collection system. - means a privately or publicly owned system for treating sewage effluent, recognized by Alberta Environment, consisting of either a communal or an on-site sewage collection system;
Sewage collection system means the common sanitary sewers within a publicly−owned treatment system which are pri- marily installed to receive wastewaters directly from facilities which convey wastewater from individual structures or from pri- vate property, and which include service connection “Y” fittings designed for connection with those facilities.
