But an incident occurring in a building (a privately owned store) on the distant side of a perimeter street would not be included.   • Sidewalk means that portion of a street between the curb lines, or the lateral lines of a roadway, and the adjacent property lines intended for the use of pedestrians.

  • Driveway means a vehicle access route between the carriageway of a road and a use on a parcel;
