Sour crude oil definition

Sour crude oil means crude oil containing quantities of sulfur greater than 0.4 percent by weight, while “sweet crude oil” means crude oil containing quantities of sulfur equal to or less than 0.4 percent by weight.
Sour crude oil means Petroleum with a sulfur content equal to or greater than five-tenths of one percent (0.5%) by weight, as determined by test method ASTM D-1552 or ASTM D-4294.
Sour crude oil as herein used means Crude Petroleum with a sulfur content greater than 0.4% (by weight), as determined by Test Method ASTM D-1552 or D-129.
