Special improvement district means a special improvement district organized under this chapter.

Special improvement district. “SID,” or the “District” means an area within the Township designated by this Ordinance as an area in which a special assessment on property within the District shall be imposed for the purposes of promoting the economic and general welfare of the District and the Township. Residential properties, residential portions of mixed use properties, or vacant properties within the Special Improvement District are exempt from special assessments. As set forth in this Ordinance, the Township’s Special Improvement District shall be called the “Millburn Township Special Improvement District.”
