Special Teachers definition

Special Teachers means teachers of Art, Music, Physical Education, Special Education, Vocational Education, and other professional employees required to have special certification, including librarians and counselors. This Agreement shall be interpreted in accordance with the following understandings, namely:
Special Teachers means teachers of elementary Art, Music (including vocal music and band), and Physical Education.
Special Teachers who are assigned academic subject area teaching periods in addition to their teaching periods in the listed specialties shall be paid for the time assigned in excess of a 100% teaching load, as hereinafter provided.

  • Teachers working under a permit issued under 3319.301 of the Revised Code who spend at least fifty percent of their time providing content-related student instruction.

  • Career teacher means a teacher who:

  • Head Teacher means the head teacher of the Academy;

  • Emergency medical technician means a person who is either an EMT-I, EMT-II, or EMT-P (paramedic), and possesses a valid certificate or license in accordance with the standards of Division 2.5 (commencing with Section 1797) of the Health and Safety Code.

  • Cooperating country national (“CCN”) means an individual who is a cooperating country citizen or a non-cooperating country citizen lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the cooperating country.

  • Participating Countries means, collectively, all such countries.”

  • Participating Country’ means any country that the Association determines meets the requirements set forth in Section 11 of Resolution No. 194 of the Board of Governors of the Association, adopted on April 8, 1999; and ‘Participating Countries’ means, collectively, all such countries."; and (b) The second sentence of Section 5.01 is modified to read: "Except as the Borrower and the Association shall otherwise agree, no withdrawals shall be made: (a) on account of expenditures in the territories of any country which is not a Participating Country or for goods produced in, or services supplied from, such territories; or (b) for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import, to the knowledge of the Association, is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations." Section 1.02. Unless the context otherwise requires, the several terms defined in the General Conditions and in the Preamble to this Agreement have the respective meanings therein set forth and the following additional terms have the following meanings:

  • Technical college means the same as that term is defined in Section 53B-1-101.5.

  • Cooperating country means the country in which the employing USAID Mission is located.

  • Occasional Teacher means an “Occasional Teacher” as defined in the Education Act.

  • Urban Coordinating Council Empowerment Neighborhood means a neighborhood given priority access to State resources through the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority.

  • Non-Participating Marriage and Family Therapist means a Marriage and Family Therapist who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Management Team means Xxxxxx X. X’Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxx X. Xxxxxx, Xx. and Xxxxx X. Xxxxxxxxxx.

  • Participating Prosthetic Provider means a Prosthetic Provider who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Participating Marriage and Family Therapist means a Marriage and Family Therapist who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Non-Participating Clinical Professional Counselor means a Clinical Professional Counselor who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Provider Personnel means all persons employed or engaged by the Provider together with the Provider’s servants, agents, consultants and Sub-Contractors (and all persons employed by any Sub-Contractor together with the Sub-Contractor’s servants, consultants, agents, Provider’s and Sub-Contractors) used in the performance of its obligations under this Agreement;

  • Professional Technologist means a person holding registration as Professional Engineering Technologist in terms of the Engineering Profession Act, 2000.

  • Student teaching means a supervised teaching practice occurring near the end of an applicant's approved program.

  • Headteacher means the most senior teacher in the Academy who is responsible for its management and administration. Such teacher may also be referred to as the Head of School or Principal.

  • Service Provider Personnel means and refers to Service Provider employees or subcontractors hired and maintained to perform Services hereunder.
