Examples of Specified Illness in a sentence
What is covered:If the Policyholder (who should also be an Insured Person) dies or is diagnosed or undergoes treatment for the first time, with any of the Specified Illness as mentioned under Section 11.77 during the Policy Period, the cover under the Policy shall be automatically extended for a tenure of 1 Policy Year starting from the end of that Policy Period.
This benefit can be availed only once by an Insured Person during a Policy Year for the same Specified Illness or planned Surgery.
PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONAny Medical Practitioner authorized by Us shall be allowed to examine the Insured Person in case of any alleged Specified Illness.
What is covered:If an Insured Person suffers a Specified Illness as defined under Section11.77 during the Policy Period, We will indemnify the Reasonable and Customary Charges for Medical Expenses of the Insured Person incurred towards treatment of that Specified Illness that would otherwise have been payable under Section 3.1 (Inpatient Care), on Cashless Facility basis only.
What is covered:If the Insured Person is diagnosed with a Specified Illness as defined under Section 11.77 or is planning to undergo a planned Surgery or a Surgical Procedure for any Illness or Injury, the Insured Person can, at the Insured Person’s choice, obtain a Second Medical Opinion during the Policy Period.
