Standard Definition Channels or “SD Channels” shall mean Linear transmission of television channel in any resolution that is 576 lines of vertical resolution or less (but at least 480 vertical lines of resolution) and equal to or less than 720 lines of horizontal resolution. Linear transmission shall mean the transmission and re-transmission of the Channel in a linear feed wherein apart from TVTN, no other person, including the DPO, sub-operators and Subscribers shall be able to control the flow of content of such Channel.
