Standard Test Conditions definition

Standard Test Conditions means, with respect to determining the nameplate DC rating of a solar PV panel in a factory flash test, an irradiance of 1,000 W/m2, a panel temperature of 25°C, and an air mass of 1.5.
Standard Test Conditions means an irradiance in the plane of the photovoltaic panel tilt angle of one thousand (1,000) W/m2 and a photovoltaic cell operating temperature of twenty-five degrees Celsius (25°C) and such other test conditions mutually agreed in writing by authorized representatives of Seller and Buyer.
Standard Test Conditions or “STC”: (a) light spectrum of AM 1.5; (b) an irradiation of 1000W per square meter; and (c) a cell temperature of 25 degrees centigrade at right angle irradiation. The measurements are carried out in accordance with IEC61215 (equivalent to GB/T 9535) as tested at the junction box terminals per the calibration and testing standards of JA Solar valid at the date of manufacture of the Modules. JA Solar’s calibration standards shall comply with the standards applied by international institutions accredited for this purpose.

Examples of Standard Test Conditions in a sentence

  • The Standard Test Conditions include the following: Atmosphere mass (AM) 1.5, wind speed=0m/s, irradiation 1000W/m2, cell temperature 25℃.
