State military service definition

State military service means training or operational duty or other service authorized and performed under the provisions of 32 U.S.C. or other federal law or regulation as part of the Iowa army national guard or Iowa air national guard and paid for with federal funds.
State military service means active, full-time service with a recognized military unit called into service by the governor for at least 30 days.

Related to State military service

  • Military service means honorably serving on federal active duty, state active duty, or national guard duty, as defined in Iowa Code section 29A.1; in the military services of other states, as provided in 10 U.S.C. Section 101(c); or in the organized reserves of the United States, as provided in 10 U.S.C. Section 10101.
