Subject Traffic definition

Subject Traffic is defined for all purposes under this Agreement as Telecommunications Traffic that (a) is originated by a retail customer of one Party on that Party's network, (b) terminates to a retail customer of the other Party on the other Party's network within the same Major Trading Area (MTA), and (c) may be handled pursuant to an agreement between either Party and another carrier that performs only a transiting function in lieu of a direct Interconnection between the Parties. For landline-originated traffic, Subject Traffic is limited to calls to NPA/NXXs within ARMSTRONG-NORTH customers local or EAS calling scope. For purposes of determining originating and terminating points of a call on the CINGULAR network under this Agreement, the originating or terminating cell site locations at the beginning of a call will be used as the point of call origination and termination, respectively. Subject Traffic does not include interexchange traffic, nor does it include any traffic that is transmitted to or returned from the Internet at any point during the duration of the transmission. One-way CMRS traffic is similarly excluded.
Subject Traffic means the Telecommunications Traffic that the Parties mutually agree to exchange pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement. Subject Traffic means Telecommunications Traffic within the same MTA that is, (a) originated by a SPRINT end user within the MTA and terminates to a XXXXXX end user, or (b) originated by a XXXXXX end user and terminated to an SPRINT end user in a Rate Center within the XXXXXX end user’s Mandatory Local Calling Scope.

More Definitions of Subject Traffic

Subject Traffic is telecommunications traffic that is subject to Section 251(b)(5) of the Act. With respect to network interconnection between a CMRS licensee and a LEC, Subject Traffic is defined as traffic which is originated by an end user of one Party and terminates to an end user of the other Party within the same Major Trading Area (“MTA”), provided that the end user of ACC of Kentucky is a two-way CMRS customer and the traffic is delivered by either Party over the connecting facilities covered by this Agreement. Subject Traffic is defined under this Agreement only for the purpose of defining the scope of traffic that is subject to compensation pursuant to 47 C.F.R. § 51.701(e) of the FCC’s rules. The definition and use of the term Subject Traffic for purposes of this Agreement has no effect on the definition of local traffic or the geographic area associated with local calling under either Party’s respective end user service offerings.
Subject Traffic is the Telecommunications Traffic that the Parties mutually agree to exchange pursuant to the terms and conditions of Reciprocal Compensation set forth in this Agreement. Subject Traffic means traffic within the same MTA that is, (a) originated by a ALLTEL end user within the MTA and terminates to a MATC end user, or (b) originated by an MATC end user within the MTA and terminates to an ALLTEL end user through a ALLTEL Rate Center within the MATC end user’s Mandatory Local Calling Scope. Additionally, if MATC becomes an Interexchange Carrier, MATC will compensate ALLTEL for all traffic originated by a MATC end user when MATC is the Interexchange Carrier.
Subject Traffic is the Telecommunications Traffic that the Parties mutually agree to exchange pursuant to the terms and conditions of Reciprocal Compensation set forth in this Agreement. Subject Traffic means traffic within the same MTA that is, (a) originated by a ALLTEL end user within the MTA and terminates to a WWTC end user, or (b) originated by an WWTC end user within the MTA and terminates to an ALLTEL end user through a ALLTEL Rate Center within the WWTC end user’s Mandatory Local Calling Scope. Additionally, if WWTC becomes an Interexchange Carrier, WWTC will compensate ALLTEL for all traffic originated by a WWTC end user when WWTC is the Interexchange Carrier.

The definition and use of the term Subject Traffic for purposes of this Agreement has no effect on the definition of local traffic or the geographic area associated with local calling under either Party’s respective end user service offerings. Moreover, as set forth in 1.1.1.3 and 1.1.1.4, Subject Traffic may also include, for routing purposes only, intraMTA non-EAS and interMTA traffic.
