Substantial Conformance definition

Substantial Conformance means there is a minimal likelihood of contamination of the PWS or surrounding PWSs posed by the improper construction or location of a PWS. Or, for a STS there is minimal likelihood of degradation of groundwater and surface water, or risk to public health caused by improper construction or location of an STS, or a malfunctioning STS.
Substantial Conformance means there is a minimal likelihood of risk to public health caused by improper construction, location, or operation of an OSDS, or of a malfunctioning OSDS.
Substantial Conformance means there is a minimum likelihood of risk to public health caused by improper construction, location, or operation of an OSSTS, or of a malfunctioning OSSTS. This definition allows the Enforcement Agent discretion for noncompliance areas that were previously installed under different regulations.

More Definitions of Substantial Conformance

Substantial Conformance means that the Approval has not resulted in a reduction of ten percent (10%) or more of: (i) the square footage of the Commercial Project set forth in the Program; and/or (ii) the number of units of the Residential Project set forth in the Program.

  • Substantial compliance means a level of compliance with these rules where any deficiencies pose no greater risk to resident health or safety than the potential for causing minor harm.
