Summer Food Service Program means the federal
Summer Food Service Program means the Federal reimbursement program, established under 42 USC 1761 and 7 CFR Part 225, pursuant to which the USDOA is authorized to provide grants-in-aid and other assistance to the States, as may be necessary to help schools, local government agencies, nonprofit organizations, colleges and universities, and summer camps to finance the administrative and operational costs of providing meals to children, in low-income areas, during the summer months and other planned periods of school closure.

  • If participating in the SFSP, SFA will comply with all requirements of 7 CFR 225 – Summer Food Service Program.

Summer Food Service Program means the program established under P.L.2017, c.387 (C.18A:33-23) in accordance with authorization received pursuant to the “Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act,” Pub.L.79-396 (42 U.S.C. s.1751 et seq.).
Summer Food Service Program or “SFSP” means a federal CNP that reimburses program operators who serve free healthy meals and snacks to children 18 years and under from low-income areas.
