Reimbursement Program. Each full-time non-probationary employee who is subject to the provisions of this Agreement shall be eligible for a reimbursement of tuition only in courses of instruction voluntarily undertaken and subject to the following conditions:
Reimbursement Program. To xxxxxx and encourage lifelong learning, all full-time members who have completed one (1) or more years of continuous active service prior to the date of the start of a course shall be eligible for a reimbursement of instructional fees, laboratory fees and general fees of up to four thousand-five hundred dollars ($4,500) per calendar year for undergraduate studies; up to five thousand-five hundred dollars ($5,500) per calendar year for graduate studies; or up to two thousand dollars ($2,000) per calendar year for courses/training for continuing education voluntarily undertaken by the member that is directly related to the member’s job duties. Reimbursement shall not exceed a combined total of five thousand-five hundred ($5,500) per calendar year for undergraduate and graduate studies. The tuition reimbursement program shall be subject to the following conditions:
Reimbursement Program. All employees of the bargaining unit may participate in the City's Tuition Reimbursement Program. Under this program, each employee will be eligible for a maximum of three thousand dollars ($3,000) in reimbursement per calendar year for fees and required textbooks, and courses of instruction voluntarily undertaken. Courses of instruction eligible for reimbursement under this program will include courses necessary for job-related degree programs or courses of study not necessarily within a job-related degree program but which are still job- related. In addition, only coursework provided by a recognized institution (e.g. college, university, community college, post-secondary technical school, etc.) will be eligible for reimbursement under this program. No reimbursement will be approved for correspondence courses.
Reimbursement Program. All employees of the bargaining unit may participate in the City's Tuition Reimbursement Program. Under this program, each employee shall be eligible for a maximum of Three Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($3,750) in reimbursement per calendar year for fees and required textbooks, and courses of instruction voluntarily undertaken. Courses of instruction eligible for reimbursement under this program shall include courses necessary for job-related degree programs or courses of study not necessarily within a job-related degree program but which are still job-related. In addition, only coursework provided by a recognized institution (e.g. college, university, community college, post-secondary technical school, etc.) shall be eligible for reimbursement under this program. No reimbursement shall be approved for correspondence courses.
Reimbursement Program. Each member shall be eligible for a maximum of Three Seven Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($3,750) in reimbursement per calendar year for fees and required textbooks, and job-related courses/degree programs of instruction voluntarily undertaken.
Reimbursement Program. Each employee , with a minimum of one year of continuous service shall be eligible for a reimbursement of tuition, course fees and lab fees in courses of instruction taken towards an associate's and/or a bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university. The rate of reimbursement shall be one hundred percent (100%), provided that a grade C or better is attained in a course subject to a maximum limit of $2,000 per employee per calendar year.
Reimbursement Program. The City will compensate employees at time and one- 26 half (1-1/2) for training which the City requires employees to take on off-duty time and will pay 27 for necessary books, materials, mileage, tuition, and other necessary expenses. 28 29 The City shall, as a matter of policy, encourage employees to further their education by taking 30 job-related training which is not required by the City. Employees will be reimbursed by the City 31 for the cost of tuition, books and course materials on the following conditions:
Reimbursement Program. Each bargaining unit member shall be eligible, upon approval of the Sheriff, for a reimbursement of all tuition costs in courses of instruction voluntarily undertaken or required of him, provided the courses are work related. Any member requesting tuition reimbursement to attend an educational institution must submit to the Sheriff the following for approval:
Reimbursement Program. The City shall share tuition reimbursement expenses with employees interested in attaining a higher level of technical or general competence through advanced education in such courses as may be determined by the Chief Executive Officer, upon prior approval, to relate to the employee's job with the City.
