Supported living definition

Supported living means the endorsed program that provides the opportunity for individuals to live in the residence of their own choice within the community. Supported living is not grounded in the concept of "readiness" or in a "continuum of services model", but rather provides the opportunity for individuals to live where they want, with whom they want, for as long as they desire, with a recognition that needs and desires may change over time.
