Surrendered Area definition

Surrendered Area means whole or part of the Area with respect to which the rights of a party have terminated by Surrender or by assignment or by termination of the business pursuant to this Agreement.
Surrendered Area means an area with respect to which the rights of a person have terminated by surrender or by assignment or by termination of the business;

  • For the avoidance of any doubt, to the extent any reservations with respect to the condition of the Surrendered Area or any parts thereof and/or the condition of the Alternative Area or parts thereof arise, it is hereby agreed that the repair of the defects to which those reservations relate will be the exclusive responsibility of the Tenant, including ECI on its behalf, and the Landlord will bear no responsibility whatsoever in respect thereof.

  • In the event the Tenant has exercised any of its rights pursuant to section 22.1 any time after the first three (3) years of the Term, the Surrendered Area cannot comprise any part of the Leased Premises which were added as a result of the Tenant exercising such rights.

Surrendered Area has the meaning given in section 23.1;

  • residential premises means a house, building, structure, shelter, or mobile home, or portion thereof, used as a dwelling, home, residence, or living place by 1 or more human beings. “Residential premises” includes an apartment unit, a boardinghouse, a rooming house, a mobile home, a mobile home space, and a single or multiple family dwelling, but does not include a hotel, a motel, motor home, or other tourist accommodation, when used as a temporary accommodation for guests or tourists, or premises used as the principal place of residence of the owner and rented occasionally during temporary absences including vacation or sabbatical leave.

  • Outside Areas means all areas within the Property which are located outside the buildings, such as pedestrian walkways, parking areas, landscaped areas, open areas and enclosed trash disposal areas.

  • New Building ’ means a new construction to house a complete motor vehicle as- sembly process, where that construction includes the pouring or construction of a new foundation and floor, the erection of a new frame and roof, and the instal- lation of new plumbing and electrical and other utilities;

  • Premises Building Partial Damage means if the Building of which the Premises are a part is damaged or destroyed to the extent that the cost to repair is less than fifty percent (50%) of the then Replacement Cost of the building.

  • Building sewer means the extension from the building drain to the public sewer or other place of disposal.

  • Work area means a room or defined space in a workplace where hazardous chemicals are produced or used, and where employees are present.

  • industrial premises means any place or premises (not being a private dwelling house), including the precincts thereof, in which or in any part of which any industry, trade, business, occupation or manufacturing is being ordinarily carried on with or without the aid of power and includes a godown attached thereto;
