Switched Exchange Access Traffic definition

Switched Exchange Access Traffic or “Switched Access Traffic” means the transmission and/or switching services to Telecommunications Carriers for the purpose of the origination or termination of Exchange Access Services. Any traffic that does not meet the definition of Local Traffic or ISP-Bound Traffic will be considered Switched Access Service. Switched Access Services includes, without limitation, the following:

Examples of Switched Exchange Access Traffic in a sentence

  • PSTN Traffic neither Party will terminate IntraLATA or InterLATA toll Switched Exchange Access Traffic or originated untranslated traffic codes (e.g. 800, 888) over Local Trunks, INTRALATA VoIP-PSTN Trunks or ISP Bound Trunks.

  • All Switched Exchange Access Traffic, including INTRALATA VoIP-PSTN Traffic and Toll VoIP-PSTN Traffic will be billed to the originating Party at the terminating Parties Switched Access Tariff rates and charges.

  • LEVEL 3 will be responsible to pay Tariff Switch Access rates and charges for all LEVEL 3 originated Switched Exchange Access Traffic, including INTRALATA VOIP-PSTN Traffic, terminating to and billed by METAMORA.

  • CENTURYLINK will be responsible to pay Tariff Switch Access rates and charges for all CENTURYLINK originated Switched Exchange Access Traffic, including INTRALATA VOIP-PSTN Traffic, terminating to and billed by CCCI or a third-party network as provided in Appendix E.

Related to Switched Exchange Access Traffic

  • Switched Exchange Access Service means the offering of transmission or switching cervices to Telecommunications Carriers for the purpose of the origination or termination of telephone toll service. Switched Exchange Access Services include: Feature Group A, Feature Group B, Feature Group D, 800/888 access, and 900 access and their successors or similar Switched Exchange Access Services.

  • Local Access Transport Area (LATA) is As Defined in the Act.

  • Switched Access Detail Usage Data means a category 1101xx record as defined in the EMI Telecordia Practice BR 000-000-000.

  • Small municipal separate storm sewer system or "small MS4" means all separate storm sewers that are (i) owned or operated by the United States, a state, city, town, borough, county, parish, district, association, or other public body (created by or pursuant to state law) having jurisdiction over disposal of sewage, industrial wastes, stormwater, or other wastes, including special districts under state law such as a sewer district, flood control district or drainage district, or similar entity, or an Indian tribe or an authorized Indian tribal organization, or a designated and approved management agency under § 208 of the CWA that discharges to surface waters and (ii) not defined as "large" or "medium" municipal separate storm sewer systems or designated under 4VAC50-60-380 A 1. This term includes systems similar to separate storm sewer systems in municipalities, such as systems at military bases, large hospital or prison complexes, and highway and other thoroughfares. The term does not include separate storm sewers in very discrete areas, such as individual buildings.

  • Multiple Exchange Carrier Access Billing or “MECAB” means the document prepared by the Billing Committee of the OBF, which functions under the auspices of the Carrier Liaison Committee (CLC) of the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS). The MECAB document, published by ATIS as ATIS/OBF-MECAB- Issue 6, February 1998, contains the recommended guidelines for the billing of access services provided to an IXC by two (2) or more LECs, or by one LEC in two (2) or more states within a single LATA.

  • Exchange Access means as defined in the Act.

  • Data Local Exchange Carrier or "DLEC" is a CLEC interconnecting primarily for purposes of transporting data.

  • InterMTA Traffic means traffic to or from WSP’s network that originates in one MTA and terminates in another MTA (as determined by the geographic location of the cell site to which the mobile End User is connected).

  • air traffic means all aircraft in flight or operating on the manoeuvring area of an aerodrome;

  • Local Access and Transport Area (LATA) Shall have the meaning set forth in 47 U.S.C.

  • Switched Access Service means the offering of transmission and switching services to Interexchange Carriers for the purpose of the origination or termination of telephone toll service. Switched Access Services include: Feature Group A, Feature Group B, Feature Group D, 8XX access, and 900 access and their successors or similar Switched Access Services.

  • Backflow Prevention Assembly means any mechanical assembly installed at a water service line or at a plumbing fixture to prevent a backflow contamination event, provided that the mechanical assembly is appropriate for the identified contaminant at the cross connection and is an in-line field-testable assembly.

  • Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System Management Program means a management program covering the duration of a state permit for a municipal separate storm sewer system that includes a comprehensive planning process that involves public participation and intergovernmental coordination, to reduce the discharge of pollutants to the maximum extent practicable, to protect water quality, and to satisfy the appropriate water quality requirements of the CWA and regulations, and this article and its attendant regulations, using management practices, control techniques, and system, design, and engineering methods, and such other provisions that are appropriate.

  • Municipal separate storm sewer system means a conveyance or system of conveyances including roads with drainage systems, municipal streets, catch basins, curbs, gutters, ditches, manmade channels, or storm drains.

  • Line Information Data Base (LIDB) means a transaction-oriented database system that functions as a centralized repository for data storage and retrieval. LIDB is accessible through CCS networks. LIDB contains records associated with End User line numbers and special billing numbers.

  • Trading Access means the right granted to a Person to send RFQs or place Orders and/or enter into transactions for certain or all Swaps to the SEF Platform or execute Swaps subject to the BSEF Rules.

  • 911 system means the set of network, database and customer premise equipment (CPE) components required to provide 911 service.

  • Information Service Traffic Traffic delivered to or from an Information Service Provider for the provision of Information Service. ISP-Bound Traffic is a subset of Information Service Traffic. Inside Wire or Inside Wiring: Wiring within the customer Premises that extends to the Demarcation Point of CenturyLink’s outside plant. Inside Wire is owned or controlled by the End User (unless otherwise specified herein or under Applicable Law).

  • IntraLATA Toll Traffic means the IntraLATA traffic, regardless of the transport protocol method, between two locations within one LATA where one of the locations lies outside of the mandatory local calling area as defined by the Commission.

  • Backflow prevention device means a safety device used to prevent pollution or contamination of the water supply due to the reverse flow of water from the irrigation system.

  • Lateral Access Roads has the meaning given in subclause (3)(a)(iv));
