Target Investments definition

Target Investments means the types of investments described under "Business—Our Investment Strategy" in the Company's prospectus dated , 2012, relating to the Initial Public Offering, subject to, and including any changes to the Investment Guidelines that may be approved by the Manager and the Board from time to time.
Target Investments. Any of the following: (i) whole mortgage loans, (ii) senior pari passuA notes” or participations in whole mortgage loans, (iii) mezzanine loans, (iv) preferred equity investments, (v) subordinated mortgage interests (including “B notes” and junior participations in whole mortgage loans, and (vi) real estate securities (including commercial mortgage backed securities and collateralized loan obligations); provided that the foregoing shall exclude Highly Rated CMBS.
Target Investments means the types of investments described under “Business—Underwriting and Investment Process” in the Company’s Registration Statement on Form S-11 covering the registration of the initial public offering and sale of shares of the Common Stock under the Securities Act, subject to, and including any changes to the Investment Guidelines that may be approved by the Manager and the Board from time to time, and, for the avoidance of doubt, may in the future include loans in which the Corporation syndicates participation to other parties, including affiliated or separately managed vehicles, in order to reduce concentration risk.

Examples of Target Investments in a sentence

  • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, for so long as the Manager is managing the Company pursuant to this Agreement, neither it nor any of its Affiliates will sponsor or manage any other U.S. publicly traded REIT that invests primarily in the Target Investments (taken as a whole).

Related to Target Investments

  • Net Investment means (i) as it relates to the Stockholders, the total amount of Gross Proceeds raised in all Offerings; and (ii) as it relates to the Limited Partners (other than the General Partner in its capacity as a Limited Partner) the total amount of Capital Contributions.

  • Prior Period Investments means investments made in a previous evaluation period that are outstanding as of the examination date.

If a county has an average annual unemployment rate of at least twice the state average during the last twenty‑four month period based on data available on the most recent November first, the minimum investment is one million dollars. The department shall designate these reduced investment counties by December thirty‑first of each year using data from the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce and the United States Department of Commerce. The designations are effective for a sponsor whose fee agreement is signed in the calendar year following the county designation. For all purposes of this chapter, the minimum investment may include amounts expended by a sponsor or sponsor affiliate as a nonresponsible party in a voluntary cleanup contract on the property pursuant to Article 7, Chapter 56, Title 44, the Brownfields Voluntary Cleanup Program, if the Department of Health and Environmental Control certifies completion of the cleanup. If the amounts under the Brownfields Voluntary Cleanup Program equal at least one million dollars, the investment threshold requirement of this chapter is deemed to have been met.

  • Performing Cash Pay Mezzanine Investments means Mezzanine Investments (a) as to which, at the time of determination, not less than 2/3rds of the interest (including accretions and “pay-in-kind” interest) for the current monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual period (as applicable) is payable in cash and (b) which are Performing.

  • Investment Capital Expenditures means capital expenditures other than Maintenance Capital Expenditures and Expansion Capital Expenditures.
