Competent Supervisory Authority means a supervisory authority which has jurisdiction in relation to the activities of a controller or processor under European data protection law in a particular Member State;
Highway authority means the state highway commission, a board of county road commissioners or the governing body of a city or village.
Supervisory Authority shall have the same meaning as in the GDPR, and their cognate terms shall be construed accordingly.
Governmental or Regulatory Authority means any court, tribunal, arbitrator, authority, agency, bureau, board, commission, department, official or other instrumentality of the United States, any foreign country or any domestic or foreign state, county, city or other political subdivision, and shall include any stock exchange, quotation service and the National Association of Securities Dealers.

Regulatory Authority means, with respect to a particular country, extra-national territory, province, state, or other regulatory jurisdiction, any applicable Governmental Authority involved in granting Regulatory Approval and/or, to the extent required for such country, extra-national territory, province, state, or other or regulatory jurisdiction, pricing or reimbursement approval of a Product in such country or regulatory jurisdiction, including the FDA, the EMA, the European Commission and MHLW, and in each case including any successor thereto.

Authority or Housing Authority (HA) means the Housing Authority.
Regulatory Authorizations means all approvals, clearances, notifications, authorizations, orders, exemptions, registrations, listings, certifications, licenses and permits granted by, submitted to or filed with any Regulatory Agencies necessary for the testing, manufacture, development, distribution, use, storage, import, export, transport, promotion, marketing, sale or other commercialization of any Product in any country or jurisdiction, including any Investigational Application.
Governmental Body means any government or governmental or regulatory body thereof, or political subdivision thereof, whether federal, state, local or foreign, or any agency, instrumentality or authority thereof, or any court or arbitrator (public or private).
Governmental Antitrust Authority has the meaning set forth in Section 5.08(b).
national regulatory authority means a national regulatory authority designated in accordance with Article 39(1) of Directive 2009/73/EC;
Disciplinary Authority means the authority specified in the schedule which is competent to impose on an officer employee any of the penalties specified in regulation 4;
securities regulatory authority or “SRA” means a body created by statute in any Canadian or foreign jurisdiction to administer securities law, regulation and policy (e.g. securities commission), but does not include an exchange or other self regulatory entity;
foreign regulatory authority means a securities commission, exchange or other securities market regulatory authority in a designated foreign jurisdiction;
Regulatory Authorities means the Commissions and the Exchange;
Necessary Authorizations means all approvals and licenses from, and all filings and registrations with, any governmental or other regulatory authority, including, without limiting the foregoing, the Licenses and all approvals, licenses, filings and registrations under the Communications Act, necessary in order to enable the Borrower and its Subsidiaries to own, construct, maintain, and operate communications tower facilities and to invest in other Persons who own, construct, maintain, manage and operate communications tower facilities.
Operating Authority means, in respect of the Authorized System, the person, entity, or assignee that is given responsibility by the Owner for the operation, management, maintenance, or Alteration of the Authorized System, or a portion of the Authorized System.
Approval Authority means the authority of a Member State with competence for all aspects of the approval of a type of vehicle, system, component or separate technical unit or of the individual approval of a vehicle; for the authorisation process, for issuing and, if appropriate, withdrawing approval certificates; for acting as the contact point for the approval authorities of other Member States; for designating the technical services and for ensuring that the manufacturer meets his obligations regarding the conformity of production;
