Temporary replacement definition

Temporary replacement as used in this Agreement means any individual who is hired to replace an employee on an approved leave of more than four (4) months, provided, however, that in no event shall any individual remain a “temporary replacement” for more than nine (9) months from date of hire.
Temporary replacement means the person appointed by the political subdivision's governing body in accordance with this section to exercise the powers and duties of the office of the elected official who takes military leave.
Temporary replacement has the meaning given to it in clause 13.5.

Examples of Temporary replacement in a sentence

  • Temporary replacement teachers employed on a temporary contract shall have all the rights of the Master Contract except that paid leave shall be granted per the formula set forth in b.

  • Temporary replacement devices may also be available so that learning is not disrupted by the repair/ investigation of loss process.

  • Temporary replacement for reason of sickness or accident does not meet any of the criteria of this Article.

  • Temporary replacement vehicle cover In the event of a Total Loss, the Policy will pay a contribution towards a temporary replacement vehicle.

  • Temporary replacement equipment rental and project specific equipment rental shall be reimbursed at invoice cost for specialized equipment required to perform service.

  • Temporary Work means all temporary works of every kind required in or about the execution, completion and maintenance of the works.
