Temporary work out of classification means the performance of duties which are:

Temporary work out of classification means the performance of duties which are not fixed and prescribed for the employee’s regular class; not reasonably related to the duties of the employee’s regular class; evaluated as being at a higher level of difficulty and responsibility than those of the employee’s regular class; and performed for a limited period of time for other than training or emergency assignment purposes. Assignment to such work shall be interpreted as a requirement to perform duties assigned by a duly authorized person.

  • Temporary Work means all temporary works of every kind required in or about the execution, completion and maintenance of the works.

  • Temporary worker means a person who is furnished to you to substitute for a permanent "employee" on leave or to meet seasonal or short-term workload conditions.

  • Temporary food service establishment means a food service establishment that operates at a fixed location for a period of time of not more than 14 consecutive days in conjunction with a single event or celebration.

  • Project Schedule means a document that, with respect to each Phase of the Project, identifies, coordinates and integrates the anticipated design and construction schedules, the Contracting Authority’s and Owner's responsibilities, government authority reviews and other activities as are necessary for the timely completion of the Work.

  • Temporary housing means any tent, trailer, motor home, or other structure used for human shelter which is designed to be transportable and which is not attached to the ground, to another structure, or to any utilities system on the same premises for more than thirty (30) days.

  • Change Order means a written order to the Contractor signed by the Contracting Officer, issued after execu- tion of the Contract, authorizing a change in the term or scope of the Contract.

  • Temporary Total Disablement means disablement which entirely prevents the Insured Person from attending to their business or occupation.

  • Temporary Employee is one who is hired on a temporary basis for a full- time or part-time position: (i) for a specific job of more than three (3) months but less than twelve

  • The Work means the work or works to be executed or done under this contract.

  • Extra Work means any work which is determined by City to be necessary for the proper completion of the Project, but which the Parties did not reasonably anticipate would be necessary at the execution of this Agreement. Consultant shall not perform, nor be compensated for, Extra Work without written authorization from City’s Representative.

  • a work means the outcome of building or civil engineering works taken as a whole which is sufficient in itself to fulfil an economic or technical function;

  • Temporary Certificate means a certificate issued pursuant to subdivision (d) of section 7 of this local law.
