Emergency Assignment. The Supervisor of Transportation will exercise exclusive discretion in driver selection when an emergency condition occurs in any situation of driver need - inclusive of his/her driving the vehicle.
Emergency Assignment. A teacher may be assigned by the principal to teach during their preparation time. Teachers may be assigned up to four (4) times. Any emergency substitute placement up to four (4) hours counts as one assignment. These assignments will only be made in an emergency or when a regular substitute teacher is not available.
Emergency Assignment. 12 In the event of an emergency assignment (pursuant to Article7, 13 Section 7.1), all Saturday and Sunday work shall be compensated 14 at the overtime rate, unless specified in 7.4.3.

Emergency Assignment a) As per Article 23.01, if a suitable volunteer is not found the Company may Draft appropriately qualified individuals to carry out the task.
b) Where Management Drafts a Member for an Emergency Assignment, the Member shall be reimbursed by the Company for the non-refundable portion of contracts or reservations made by the Member in respect of that period, subject to the presentation of any documentation management may require. The Member must make every reasonable effort to mitigate any losses incurred and will provide proof of such action to Management when requested. In this case, or other extenuating circumstances, the Manager has discretion to bypass the Member and Draft the next Member down the Draft list.
c) Once Drafted for an Emergency Assignment, the Member moves to the bottom of the Draft list.
d) Where a suitable volunteer has been found, that Member shall be moved to the bottom of the Draft list.
Emergency Assignment. 16.4.1 In an emergency when a bus driver is needed immediately for an assignment, the supervisor shall have the right to assign a bus driver for no more than five (5) working days to that assignment.
Emergency Assignment. Emergency assignment is when a worker accepts a client assignment that is deemed an emergency start by the referral agency only in writing, is not par of their normal client service schedule and when the assignment is given less than twenty-four (24) hours before the start of the assignment. Acceptance of emergency assignment shall be voluntary.
Emergency Assignment. Except in emergency situations, no person shall be assigned to a non-teaching assignment outside the professional discipline for which he/she is qualified.
Emergency Assignment. The emergency assignment will not exceed 2 FCH over the maximum workload.
