Time/temperature definition

Time/temperature means the relationship between the length of time and the specific temperatures to which potentially hazardous foods are subjected during storage, transportation, preparation, cooking, reheating, dispensing, service, or sale.

Related to Time/temperature

  • High-temperature coating means a high performance coating labeled and formulated for application to substrates exposed continuously or intermittently to temperatures above 204oC (400oF).

  • Operating pressure means the pressure at which the parts of an irrigation system are designed by the manufacturer to operate.

  • Meters shall have the meaning set forth in Section 4.6(a) hereof.

  • Density means the permitted number of dwelling units per

  • Calibration means the determination of (1) the response or reading of an instrument relative to a series of known radiation values over the range of the instrument, or (2) the strength of a source of radiation relative to a standard.

  • Pressure means relative pressure versus atmospheric pressure, unless otherwise stated.

  • medium voltage means the set of nominal voltage levels that lie above low voltage and below high voltage in the range of 1 kV < Un 44 kV. [SANS 1019]

  • Meter means a device which records the demand and/or the electrical energy consumed and includes conventional and prepayment meters;

  • Tolerance means a state of adaptation in which exposure to a drug induces changes that result in a diminution of one or more of the drug’s effects over time.

  • Finished water means the water that is introduced into the distribution system of a public water system and is intended for distribution and consumption without further treatment, except as treatment necessary to maintain water quality in the distribution system (e.g., booster disinfection, addition of corrosion control chemicals).

  • Recalibration means the adjustment of all DRG weights to reflect changes in relative resource consumption.

  • Configuration means State-specific changes made to the Software without Source Code or structural data model changes occurring.

  • Calibration gas means a gas mixture used to calibrate gas analysers.

  • design pressure means the maximum pressure that a pressure vessel or plant is designed to withstand safety when operating normally;

  • Tank means an enclosed space which is formed by the permanent structure of a ship and which is designed for the carriage of liquid in bulk.

  • Outputs means the goods or services that are produced by an entity or other person;

  • Altitude means the vertical distance of a level, a point or an object considered as a point, measured from mean sea level (MSL);

  • Slug loading means any pollutant, including oxygen demanding pollutants, released in a discharge at a flow rate and/or pollutant concentration as to cause interference in the POTW.

  • Ventilation means the supply of outside air into a building through window or other openings due to wind outside and convection effects arising from temperature, or vapour pressure differences (or both) between inside and outside of the building;

  • True vapor pressure means the equilibrium partial pressure exerted by a petroleum liquid as determined in accordance with methods described in American Petroleum Institute (API) Bulletin 2517, Evaporation Loss from External Floating Roof Tanks, 1980. The API procedure may not be applicable to some high viscosity or high pour crudes. Available estimates of true vapor pressure may be used in special cases such as these.

The animal confinement area includes, but is not limited to, open lots, housed lots, feedlots, confinement houses, stall barns, free stall barns, milkrooms, milking centers, egg washing or egg processing areas, areas used for the storage and disposal/treatment of mortalities, cowyards, barnyards, medication pens, walkers, animal walkways, and stables. The manure storage area includes, but is not limited to, lagoons, runoff ponds, storage sheds, stockpiles, under-house or pit storages, liquid impoundments, static piles, and composting piles. The raw materials storage area includes, but is not limited to, feed silos, and silage bunkers.
