Total Invested Assets definition

Total Invested Assets means, as at any date of determination, the aggregate value of all Borrower's and the Insurance Subsidiaries' portfolios of stocks, bonds, mortgage loans, real estate, policy loans and other assets classified as invested assets under and valued in accordance with SAP as at such date.

Total Invested Assets means, as of any date, as to each Insurance Subsidiary, the amount of such Insurance Subsidiary’s cash and invested assets calculated in accordance with SAP.

Total Invested Assets means all of Investments of the Borrower and its Subsidiaries not including Indebtedness of any Insurance Subsidiary evidenced by surplus notes held by the Borrower.

• Permit total consolidated Investments of the Borrower and its Insurance Subsidiaries in Investment Grade Securities, as of the end of any fiscal quarter, to be less than ninety percent (90%) of the aggregate amount of Total Invested Assets.

• The Manager shall be entitled to receive a Special Distribution equal to .375% per annum of Total Invested Assets from the date of investment, payable quarterly.

More Definitions of Total Invested Assets

Total Invested Assets means, with respect to any date the sum of (i) real estate and acquired in place lease values (net of accumulated depreciation and amortization), (ii) unconsolidated investments, and (iii) loan purchases and originations, in each case, as of such date and as determined in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Total Invested Assets means, with respect to any Insurance Subsidiary, the amount set forth on line 8(a) in column 1 on page 2 of such Insurance Subsidiary's most recent SAP Statement.

Total Invested Assets means at any date, for any Insurance Subsidiary and its Subsidiaries (determined on a consolidated basis, without duplication, in accordance with SAP), the amount shown on the most recent available Statutory Statement of such Insurance Subsidiary at p. 2, line 11 (or, if the form of Statutory Statement of such Insurance Subsidiary shall be amended, such other page and line of such amended form as shall reflect the same information).

Total Invested Assets means that portion of the net proceeds of the offering of Units which shall from time to time be invested in Mortgages.

For purposes of the definition of Total Invested Assets, mortgage investments include, without limitation, First Mortgage Bonds, SMLs and investments similar to the foregoing.
