TPDES permit definition

TPDES permit means a permit issued by the TCEQ that authorizes the discharge of pollutants to waters of the State, whether the permit is applicable to an individual, group, or general area-wide basis. (Amend Ord 07-004, 2/13/07)

  • The Contractor shall comply with all requirements of the TCEQ TPDES permit and the local authorities’ storm water ordinance and/or regulations.

  • This permit does not transfer liability for the act of discharging without, or in violation of, a NPDES or a TPDES permit from the operator of the discharge to the permittee(s).

  • work permit means the relevant permit issued by First Gas to the Interconnected Party under First Gas’ current “Permit to Work Procedure” pursuant to section 13.

  • PAL permit means the construction permit issued by the Department that establishes a Plantwide Applicability Limitation (PAL) for a major stationary source.

  • State permit means an approval to conduct a land-disturbing activity issued by the State Board in the form of a state stormwater individual permit or coverage issued under a state general permit or an approval issued by the State Board for stormwater discharges from an MS4. Under these state permits, the Commonwealth imposes and enforces requirements pursuant to the federal Clean Water Act and regulations, the Virginia Stormwater Management Act and the Regulations.

  • Administrative permit amendment means an air quality operating permit revision that:

  • Emissions allowable under the permit means a federally enforceable permit term or condition determined at issuance to be required by an applicable requirement that establishes an emissions limit (including a work practice standard) or a federally enforceable emissions cap that the source has assumed to avoid an applicable requirement to which the source would otherwise be subject.
