Tranche A definition

Tranche A has the meaning assigned in Section 2.1(c)(i).
Tranche A is defined in Section 2.1.1(a).
Tranche A means that part of the Loan made or to be made available to the Borrowers to finance up to the lower of (i) 60 per cent. of the Fair Market Value of Ship A or (ii) 65 per cent. of the Contract Price of Ship A.

Examples of Tranche A in a sentence

  • On each subsequent Repayment Date, the Borrower shall repay the principal amount of Tranche A in an amount equal to Seven Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($7,500,000) and, in addition to such amount, on each Repayment Date commencing on March 31, 2027, the Borrower shall repay the principal amount of Tranche B in an amount equal to (x) the principal amount of Tranche B outstanding as of March 31, 2027, multiplied by (y) 2.13% (rounded up to the nearest whole number).

  • The Borrower shall apply proceeds of the Loans as follows: (a) with respect to Tranche A, to refinance the Refinanced Indebtedness and for general corporate purposes, and (b) with respect to Tranche B, to make payments to the Shipyard under the Shipbuilding Contracts.

  • On the first Repayment Date (being March 31, 2025), the Borrower shall repay the principal amount of Tranche A in an amount equal to Five Million Dollars ($5,000,000).

  • The Borrower shall deliver to the Facility Agent a notice of such prepayment not less than ten (10) days prior to the date on which the Borrower intends to make such prepayment (which notice shall be irrevocable and shall specify the date and amount of such prepayment and whether such prepayment shall be applied to Tranche A, Tranche B-1 or Tranche B-2).


More Definitions of Tranche A

Tranche A has the meaning specified in Section 2.01(a).
Tranche A means the credit facility provided pursuant to Section 2.1 to or for the benefit of the Company by the Banks with a Tranche A Commitment, which such facility shall consist of Loans (and participations in Swingline Loans) in the currencies referenced under the heading “Tranche A” on Schedule 1.1 and shall be in the maximum aggregate amount of the Tranche A Commitments of such Banks, as adjusted from time to time pursuant to the terms hereof.
Tranche A means the aggregate of the Tranche A Commitments.
Tranche A means the amount of up to USD25,00,000, being the aggregate of all of the Advances to be made available by the Lender to the Borrowers to assist Sifnos in its acquisition of Vessel A or, as the context requires, the amount thereof outstanding from time to time;
Tranche A means, at any time, all Tranche A Collateral Loans at such time.
Tranche A means that part of the Loan made or to be made available to the Borrower A to finance part of the Purchase Price of Ship A in a principal of US$16,200,000 (representing 80 per cent. of that Purchase Price).
Tranche A means the aggregate of the Equivalent Amount of the Hermes Issuing Fees and the Equivalent Amount of twenty five per cent (25%) of the Hermes Insurance Premium less the Equivalent Amount of twenty per cent (20%) of the Hermes Premium to be paid to the Borrower in part reimbursement of the aggregate amount of the Hermes Issuing Fees and twenty five per cent (25%) of the Hermes Insurance Premium paid by the Borrower to the Hermes Agent for on-payment to Hermes on the issue of the Hermes Cover to be advanced by the Lenders by way of their Contributions thereto on the first Drawdown Date in respect of a Portion 1 Tranche falling after the payment by the Borrower of the Hermes Issuing Fees and the first twenty five per cent (25%) of the Hermes Insurance Premium;
