Transmission Upgrades definition

Transmission Upgrades means any additions and/or reinforcements to an electric transmission system that are required as the result of the interconnection of the Project to the Participating Transmission Owner's electric system and/or to permit delivery of the Product to Buyer’s Load, as defined in the CAISO Tariff, safely and reliably, in the quantities and at the times at which delivery of such Product may be required under this Agreement, up to and including quantities that can be produced utilizing all of the Contract Capacity of the Project.
Transmission Upgrades means improvements to the transmission system that services the generating resource(s) included in any specific proposal within the RFP process.
Transmission Upgrades means any and all additions, modifications or upgrades to EKPC’s Transmission System to accommodate the interconnection of the Small Generating Facility with the Member’s Distribution System or to allow wheeling of power across EKPC’s transmission system.

Examples of Transmission Upgrades in a sentence

  • All Electrical Interconnection Facilities [and Fuel Handling Facilities], including metering and submetering facilities and Transmission Upgrades must be of sufficient capacity as of the Initial Delivery Date to permit the Units to operate at all times during each month at the Maximum Contract Capacity (in addition to such capacity as required for units located at the Facility that are not committed to Buyer).

  • Seller shall, at its sole expense, be obligated to (A) maintain the Interconnection Facilities, including metering facilities; and (B) perform all necessary (1) Transmission Upgrades and (2) Network Upgrades, as defined in the CAISO Tariff, which shall include Delivery Network Upgrades and Reliability Network Upgrades, as such terms are defined in the CAISO Tariff, in order to satisfy Seller’s Transmission Upgrade obligation in subpart (B)(1) of this Section 3.1(h).

  • If, in accordance with the applicable tariffs, rules, or agreements governing Seller’s arrangements for Transmission Upgrades, Seller is entitled to receive a credit, repayment or other rights or privileges as a result of funding the Transmission Upgrades, nothing in this Agreement shall impair or prohibit Seller from retaining those credits, repayments, rights or privileges for its use and benefit.

  • Regardless of whether PG&E owns or operates the interconnecting transmission system, under no circumstances will PG&E in its capacity as a Buyer under this Agreement be responsible for Seller’s interconnection arrangements or costs nor any credit, repayment or other rights or privileges due to Seller as a result of its funding of the Transmission Upgrades.

  • In accordance with Article XI, the Seller shall have the obligation to cause the construction of the Electrical Interconnection Facilities [and Fuel Handling Facilities], including metering and submetering facilities, and Transmission Upgrades, and cause them to become operational.

  • Regardless of whether PG&E owns or operates the interconnecting transmission system, under no circumstances will PG&E in its capacity as a Buyer under this Agreement be responsible for Seller’s interconnection arrangements or costs nor any credit, repayment or other rights or privileges due to Seller as a result of its funding of the Transmission Upgrades [or upgrades to the Gas delivery system].

  • If, in accordance with the applicable tariffs, rules, or agreements governing Seller’s arrangements for Transmission Upgrades [or upgrades to the Gas delivery system], Seller is entitled to receive a credit, repayment or other rights or privileges as a result of funding the Transmission Upgrades [or upgrades to the Gas delivery system], nothing in this Agreement shall impair or prohibit Seller from retaining those credits, repayments, rights or privileges for its use and benefit.

  • Qualifying Transmission Upgrades shall have the meaning specified in Attachment DD to the PJM Tariff.

  • An Engineering and Procurement Agreement is not intended to be used for the actual construction of any Interconnection Facilities or Transmission Upgrades.

  • Requests are comprised of interconnection requests for Generating Facilities, Elective Transmission Upgrades, requests for transmission service and notification of requests for interconnection to other electric systems, as notified by the other electric systems, that impact the Administered Transmission System.


More Definitions of Transmission Upgrades

Transmission Upgrades means any and all additions, modifications or upgrades to EKPC's Transmission System to accommodate the interconnection of the Small Generating Facility with the Member's Distribution System or to allow wheeling of power across EKPC's transmission system.
Transmission Upgrades means any additions and/or reinforcements to an electric transmission system, including Interconnection Facilities, Grid Support Facilities and Network Upgrades, that are required as the result of the interconnection of the Project to the Participating Transmission Owner’s electric system and/or to permit delivery of the Product to Buyer’s Load, as defined in the CAISO Tariff, and the receipt of such Product by Buyer, safely and reliably, in the quantities and at the times at which delivery and receipt of such Product may be required under this Agreement, utilizing all of the Contract Capacity of the Project.

Related to Transmission Upgrades

  • Transmission links are the means used for inter-connecting distributed units for the purpose of conveying signals, operating data or an energy supply. This equipment is generally electrical but may, in some part, be mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic.

  • Transmission Facility means a facility for transmitting electricity, and includes any structures, equipment or other facilities used for that purpose as defined in the Parties respective ▇▇▇▇▇.

  • Transmission Loading Relief means NERC’s procedures for preventing operating security limit violations, as implemented by PJM as the security coordinator responsible for maintaining transmission security for the PJM Region.
