Examples of Transmission Upgrades in a sentence
All Electrical Interconnection Facilities [and Fuel Handling Facilities], including metering and submetering facilities and Transmission Upgrades must be of sufficient capacity as of the Initial Delivery Date to permit the Units to operate at all times during each month at the Maximum Contract Capacity (in addition to such capacity as required for units located at the Facility that are not committed to Buyer).
Regardless of whether PG&E owns or operates the interconnecting transmission system, under no circumstances will PG&E in its capacity as a Buyer under this Agreement be responsible for Seller’s interconnection arrangements or costs nor any credit, repayment or other rights or privileges due to Seller as a result of its funding of the Transmission Upgrades [or upgrades to the Gas delivery system].
If, in accordance with the applicable tariffs, rules, or agreements governing Seller’s arrangements for Transmission Upgrades [or upgrades to the Gas delivery system], Seller is entitled to receive a credit, repayment or other rights or privileges as a result of funding the Transmission Upgrades [or upgrades to the Gas delivery system], nothing in this Agreement shall impair or prohibit Seller from retaining those credits, repayments, rights or privileges for its use and benefit.
In accordance with Article XI, the Seller shall have the obligation to cause the construction of the Electrical Interconnection Facilities [and Fuel Handling Facilities], including metering and submetering facilities, and Transmission Upgrades, and cause them to become operational.
Seller shall, at its sole expense, be obligated to (A) maintain the Interconnection Facilities, including metering facilities; and (B) perform all necessary (1) Transmission Upgrades and (2) Network Upgrades, as defined in the CAISO Tariff, which shall include Delivery Network Upgrades and Reliability Network Upgrades, as such terms are defined in the CAISO Tariff, in order to satisfy Seller’s Transmission Upgrade obligation in subpart (B)(1) of this Section 3.1(h).

An Engineering and Procurement Agreement is not intended to be used for the actual construction of any Interconnection Facilities or Transmission Upgrades.
Requests are comprised of Interconnection Requests, requests for Elective Transmission Upgrades, requests for transmission service and notification of requests for interconnection to other electric systems, as notified by the other electric systems, that impact the Administered Transmission System.
In addition, such Parties recognize that they may receive an allocation of Capacity Transfer Rights which may offset a portion of the Locational Reliability Charge, and that they may offset a portion of the Locational Reliability Charge by offering and clearing Qualifying Transmission Upgrades in the Base Residual Auction.
