Unit Mechanical Completion definition

Unit Mechanical Completion shall be achieved when the conditions as stated in Section 11.4(a) for the commencement of Nuclear Fuel loading the Unit have been achieved. When submitting its written notice of determination for such Unit Mechanical Completion, Contractor shall include notice that Turnover has occurred.
Unit Mechanical Completion has the meaning set forth in Section 12.2(a).
Unit Mechanical Completion shall be achieved for a Unit when the final system or structure of such Unit needed for the commencement of the Start-Up Tests for the Unit has achieved Turnover in accordance with Section 12.1. When submitting its written notice of determination under Section 12.1(b) for such final system or structure, Contractor shall include notice that Unit Mechanical Completion will occur upon the Turnover of such system or structure.

  • Prior to Unit Mechanical Completion of a Unit, Contractor shall be responsible for the proper handling, storage, transportation, and disposal of any Hazardous Materials brought onto the Site or created by Contractor or Subcontractors.

Unit Mechanical Completion has the meaning set forth in Section 12.2(a). Related to Unit Mechanical Completion

  • Mechanical Completion means that (a) all components and systems of the Project have been properly constructed, installed and functionally tested according to EPC Contract requirements in a safe and prudent manner that does not void any equipment or system warranties or violate any permits, approvals or Laws; (b) the Project is ready for testing and commissioning, as applicable; (c) Seller has provided written acceptance to the EPC Contractor of mechanical completion as that term is specifically defined in the EPC Contract.

  • Substantial Completion means the stage in the progress of the work as determined and certified by the Contracting Officer in writing to the Contractor, on which the work (or a portion designated by the Government) is sufficiently complete and satisfactory. Substantial completion means that the property may be occupied or used for the purpose for which it is intended, and only minor items such as touch-up, adjustments, and minor replacements or installations remain to be completed or corrected which:

  • Practical Completion means the completion of the Project where the building is fit for occupancy and/or purpose.

  • Final Completion means the date determined and certified by A/E and Owner on which the Work is fully and satisfactorily complete in accordance with the Contract.
