VARIABLE ACCUMULATION UNIT. A unit of measure used in the calculation of the value of the variable portion of a Participant's Account.
VARIABLE ACCUMULATION UNIT is a unit of measure used to calculate the value of a Variable Sub-Account. "VARIABLE SUB-ACCOUNT(S)" are divisions of the Variable Account.

We reserve the right to make changes in this Policy or to make distributions from this Policy to the extent we deem necessary, in our sole discretion, to continue to qualify this Policy as life insurance. Any such changes will apply uniformly to all Policies that are affected. You will be given advance Notice of such changes. Non-Participating This Policy is not entitled to share in surplus distribution. Misstatement of Age or Sex If the date of birth or sex of the Insured is misstated, we will adjust the Death Benefit Proceeds to the amounts that would have been purchased by the most recent Cost of Insurance deduction at the correct Issue Age and sex. No adjustment will be made to the Accumulation Value of the Policy. Incontestability Except for nonpayment of premium, this Policy will be incontestable after it has been In Force for 2 years from the Date of Issue shown in the Policy Specifications. This means that we will not use any misstatement in the application to challenge a claim or contest liability after that time. Any increase in the Specified Amount effective after the Date of Issue will be incontestable only after such increase has been In Force for 2 years. The basis for contesting an increase in Specified Amount will be limited to material misrepresentations made in the supplemental application for the increase. If the Trading Price cannot be calculated for such security on such date in the manner provided above, the Trading Price shall be the fair market value as mutually determined by the Borrower and the holders of a majority in interest of the Notes being converted for which the calculation of the Trading Price is required in order to determine the Conversion Price of such Notes. “Trading Day” shall mean any day on which the Common Stock is tradable for any period on the OTCQB, or on the principal securities exchange or other securities market on which the Common Stock is then being traded, provided, however, that at no time, notwithstanding the occurrence of an Event of Default, may the Conversion Price be less than par value of Common Stock.
