Veterinary care. If, in the opinion of Four Paws, veterinary care is considered necessary for any pet, Four Paws is authorized to seek veterinary care from the Client's specified Veterinarian. If urgent care is considered necessary for any pet and the specified Veterinarian is not available, then Four Paws is authorized to seek urgent veterinary care from any available Veterinarian. Reasonable attempts shall be made to notify Client of the situation. If Client cannot be contacted and time is of the essence, then the Client authorizes the Pet Sitter to approve medical and/or emergency treatment (excluding euthanasia) as recommended by a Veterinarian. Client releases Pet Sitter from all liabilities related to any transportation, treatment or expense.

The adopter agrees to provide the dog with annual shots, heartworm preventative and parasite elimination and agrees to seek prompt veterinary care in case of illness or injury. The adopter consents to the Rescue Program obtaining medical information on the dog from your veterinarian. FEES: The Rescue Program requires an adoption fee of dollars for the dog to help defray the costs of the dog’s maintenance and veterinary care. Because the Rescue Program operates on a very tight budget, the adoption fee is not refundable under any circumstances. This fee is not a donation. Any donations to the Rescue Program are appreciated.
