VPG Employee definition

VPG Employee means any individual who, at the relevant time, is employed by VPG or any member of the VPG Group, including active employees and employees on vacation and approved leave of absence (including maternity, paternity, family, sick leave, qualified military service under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994, short- or long-term disability leave, leave under the Family Medical Leave Act and other approved leave).

Examples of VPG Employee in a sentence

  • The account balances in the Vishay KEWAP of any Vishay Employee or former Vishay Employee who becomes a VPG Employee after the Account Transfer Date, shall remain in the Vishay KEWAP, and shall continue to be governed by the terms of the Vishay KEWAP.

  • VPG or another applicable member of the VPG Group shall credit each individual who becomes a VPG Employee on or before the Distribution Date with the amount of accrued but unused vacation time and other time-off benefits as such VPG Employee had with the Vishay Group on the applicable Transfer Date.

  • Except as otherwise expressly provided for in this Agreement or as otherwise expressly agreed to in writing between the Parties, each Vishay Employee who becomes a VPG Employee shall cease to actively participate in, be covered by, accrue benefits under, be eligible to contribute to or have any rights as an active participant under any Vishay Benefit Plan effective as of a date on or after such VPG employee’s Transfer Date, but in no event later than the Distribution Date.

  • One or two piece driving suits are acceptable in all levels of competition.

  • To the extent permitted by Applicable Law and except as otherwise provided for in this Agreement, all beneficiary designations, authorizations for the release of information and rights to reimbursement made by or relating to VPG Employees under Vishay Benefit Plans shall be transferred to, and be in full force and effect under, the corresponding VPG Benefit Plans until such beneficiary designations, authorizations or rights are replaced or revoked by, or no longer apply to, the applicable VPG Employee.

  • All workers’ compensation Liabilities relating to, arising out of, or resulting from any compensable injury or occupational disease of a VPG Employee occurring on or after the applicable Transfer Date shall be the responsibility of the VPG Group.

  • SpinCo Employee has the meaning set forth in the Employee Matters Agreement.

  • Transferred Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.01(a).

  • Retained Employee does not include any individual who has a direct or an indirect ownership interest of at least five percent (5%) in the profits, equity, capital, or value of the Taxpayer, or a child, grandchild, parent, or spouse, other than a spouse who is legally separated from the individual, of any individual who has direct or indirect ownership interest of at least five percent (5%) of the profits, equity, capital or value of the Company.

  • Continuing Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.7(a).

  • Qualifying Employee means any employee of Managing Agent or Parent or any of their respective subsidiaries who is and has been an employee of Managing Agent or Parent or any of their respective subsidiaries for at least thirty-six (36) months.

  • U.S. Employee means a person who is an employee of the Company (or of any Subsidiary) for purposes of section 422 of the Code.

  • Hired Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.1.6.

  • Participating employee means an employee whose election to participate in a Plan has been approved by the employer.

  • Business Employee means any individual employed by Seller in or in connection with the Business.

  • Tipped employee means any employee engaged in an occupation in which s/he customarily and regularly receives more than $30 per month in tips. Tips include amounts designated as a tip by credit card customers on their charge slips. Nothing in this rule prevents an employer from requiring employees to share or allocate such tips or gratuities on a pre-established basis among other employees who customarily and regularly receive tips. Employer-required sharing of tips with employees who do not customarily and regularly receive tips, such as management or food preparers, or deduction of credit card processing fees from tipped employees, shall nullify allowable tip credits towards the minimum wage.

  • Former Employee means an individual who has severed employment with the Employer or an Affiliated Employer.

  • Newly hired employee or “New Hire” means any employee, whether permanent, full-time, or part-time, hired by the Office and who is still employed as of the date of new employee orientation. It also includes all employees who are or have been previously employed by the Office and whose current position has placed them in the bargaining unit represented by CSEA. For those latter employees, for purposes of this article only, the “date of hire” is the date upon which the employees’ employment status changed as such that the employee was placed in the CSEA unit.

  • Ongoing employee means an employee who has been employed for at least one complete standard measurement period.

  • Managing Employee means a general manager, business manager, administrator, director, or other individual who exercises operational or managerial control over, or who directly or indirectly conducts the day-to-day operation of an institution, organization, agency or business entity;

  • Retired employee means an employee of the state who retired after April 29, 1971,

  • Inactive Employee means an employee who is not actively at work due to approved leave of absence, short-term disability leave or military leave.

  • Active Employee means a contributing member of the TRS who is employed by a public school and is not entitled to coverage under a plan provided under Insurance Code Chapter 1551 (Texas Em- ployees Group Benefits Act) or 1601 (State University Employees Uniform Insurance Benefits Act).

  • Designated Employee means an employee who has been designated by the school to receive complaints of hazing, harassment and bullying pursuant to subdivision 16 V.S.A. 570a(a)(7). The designated employees for each school building are identified in Appendix A of this policy.

  • Service employee, means any person engaged in the performance of this contract other than any person employed in a bona fide executive, administrative, or professional capacity, as these terms are defined in Part 541 of Title 29, Code of Federal Regulations, as revised. It includes all such persons regardless of any contractual relationship that may be alleged to exist between a Contractor or subcontractor and such persons.

  • Contract employee means an employee performing services under a PEO services contract or temporary help services contract.

  • Owner-Employee means a Self-Employed Individual who is a partner and owns more than 10% of either the capital or profits interest of the partnership.

  • Relevant Employee means the Previous Contractor Employees, the Previous Contractor Third Party Employees and Previous Contractor Sub-contractor Employees;

  • Excluded Employee means an employee as defined in section 3527, subd. (b) of the Government Code (Ralph C. Dills Act) except those excluded employees who are designated managerial pursuant to section 18801.1 of the Government Code.

  • Company Employee means an employee of the Company or an employee of a Subsidiary of the Company, if any.

  • Affected employee means an employee who would be affected by the grant or denial of a variance, or any one of the employee’s authorized representatives, such as the collective bargaining agent.
