Vulnerable Customers definition

Vulnerable Customers means electricity customers who require protection against disruption or termination of electricity supply due to low income, being of pensionable age, disability, chronic illness or other vulnerabilities.

Vulnerable Customers means customers who are particularly vulnerable to disconnection during winter months for reasons of advanced age or physical, sensory, intellectual or mental health. Advancing age is taken to be a person of pensionable age (66 years or above) living alone, with another vulnerable person or with minors. In the event of inconsistency between these General Terms and Conditions, the Product Terms Sheet and any Customer Registration Form, the following order of precedence shall prevail: a) Product Terms Sheet; b) the Customer Registration Form; c) these General Terms and Conditions; provided that nothing take precedence over Clauses 5.1 or 5.2 of these General Terms and Conditions.

Vulnerable Customers means I) a household customer critically dependent on electrically powered equipment, which shall include but is not limited to life protecting devices, assistive technologies to support independent living and medical equipment, II) or a household customer particularly vulnerable to disconnection during winter months for reasons of advanced age or physical, sensory, intellectual or mental health or III) any person who is: • Elderly (Aged 66 or over, living alone or with other persons over 66 or with minors) or • Mobility impaired or • Visually impaired or • Hearing impaired or • Mentally Impaired or • Speech Impaired or • Language Difficulty or • Learning Difficulty or • Dexterity Impaired.
Vulnerable Customers means those residential Consumers categorised as vulnerable by the Customer in accordance with Schedule 7 (Consumer Services ) and recorded in the Customer’s list of vulnerable customers for the Development as supplied to the Energy Company from time to time.
