Examples of Years of Plan Participation in a sentence
Effective the first Business Day a Participant has attained three Years of Plan Participation, he or she may voluntarily withdraw all or a portion (subject to a $250.00 minimum) of the Current Market Value of Participating Employer Contributions and Discretionary Contributions in his or her account.
Subject to subsections 2.1 and 2.2 above, after a Participant’s Retirement, the Company shall continue to pay premiums to the Insurance Company on behalf of the Participant during each Policy Year until the later of the end of the Policy Year in which the Participant attains (i) age sixty (60), or (ii) ten (10) Years of Plan Participation (or such longer period as the Committee deems appropriate in its sole discretion).
A Participant who has attained age forty (40) and has at least five (5) Years of Plan Participation whose employment with the Employer is terminated prior to attainment of his Normal Retirement Date shall, after attaining his Early Retirement Age, be eligible to receive the deferred vested retirement benefit described in Section 4.3.
If a Participant has completed fewer than four (4) Years of Plan Participation, this average shall be determined using the Preferred Rates for the Plan Years during which the Participant participated in the Plan.
However, money received as a Withdrawal Based on Years of Plan Participation will be treated as taxable income for federal tax purposes.
