Common use of Automatic Early Redemption Clause in Contracts

Automatic Early Redemption. (a) If "Automatic Early Redemption Event" is specified as applicable in the Final Terms, then unless previously redeemed or purchased and cancelled, if on any Automatic Early Redemption Valuation Date the Automatic Early Redemption Event occurs, then the Certificates will be automatically redeemed in whole, but not in part, on the Automatic Early Redemption Date immediately following such Automatic Early Redemption Valuation Date and the Early Redemption Amount payable by the Issuer on such date upon redemption of each Certificate shall be an amount equal to the relevant Automatic Early Redemption Amount.
