DUTIES. Under the supervision of the Head of Unit SES/SESAR, the jobholder will be responsible for/contribute to the following activities: • contribute to EDA’s role as interface between the military community and the EU institutions, notably the EC/DG MOVE, and related bodies particularly with respect to the activities pertaining to SESAR Deployment and Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) related topics; • facilitate the coordination of military views notably with respect to SES and SESAR related regulation; • follow up EU regulations and identify the requirements to initiate Common Military Positions; • follow up EU strategies and assess impact on the military; • contribute to achieve the objectives of the “Military Aviation Strategy in the context of SES” (MAS) in line with the “Military Aviation Strategy Implementation Plan” (XXXXX), particularly with respect to SESAR Deployment and CNS related topics ; • contribute to the implementation and the update of the “Military Aviation Action Plan” (MAAP); • contribute to ESMAB and SES Expert Communities meetings as required; • support all activities deriving from the “EDA SES Military Aviation Board” (ESMAB) both at policy and management level; • run the “SES Expert Communities” (SEC) related to their function and expertise; • raise awareness on SES/SESAR issues which could have implications on the military; • support relevant unit activities with technical expertise, with a focus on ATM and CNS; • execute the activities in the EDA-EUROCONTROL Workplan; • establish and develop the necessary coordination, at staff level, with other SES stakeholders (European Commission, SESAR Joint Undertaking, SESAR Deployment Manager, INEA, EUROCONTROL and Network Manager, NATO, EASA and participating Member States); • provide for the elaboration of any necessary SES/SESAR related internal or external EDA documentation; • coordinate all SES deployment activities in relation with civil-military coordination; • coordinate with NATO and EUROCONTROL all activities with regard to Performance Equivalence and SESAR Deployment; • contribute to the preparation of EDA Steering Boards, ESMAB meetings, other SEC meetings as well as any other meetings, workshops and events as required; • support Member States in all aspects linked to EU funding for SES related activities; • ensure transversal cooperation and coordination with the other Units and Directorates of the Agency; • take on additional tasks as required in the interest of the service. Duties may evolve according to the development of the EDA's structure and activities, and the decisions of EDA management.

DUTIES. Under the supervision of the Head of Unit SES/SESARMaritime Domain, the jobholder will be responsible for/contribute for to the following activities: • support Member States by managing ongoing and future projects in the maritime domain notably associated to Naval Manoeuvrability (NM); • generate collaborative capability development projects in accordance with the Strategic Context Case (SCC) Naval Manoeuvrability (NM) and assist participating Member States (pMS) in developing the related capabilities, including the harmonisation of capability requirements; • keep the SCC NM updated and contribute to EDA’s role as interface between the military community regular update of the SCC Underwater Control (UWC); • organise and conduct meetings notably of the EU institutions, notably the EC/DG MOVE, Project Team (PT) Naval Manoeuvrability (NM) and related possible other future working bodies particularly with respect associated to the activities pertaining maritime domain in order to: • contribute to SESAR Deployment and Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) related topicsgenerating collaborative capability development projects; • facilitate develop contributions to update the coordination of military views notably with respect to SES SCC, including by exploiting existing studies and SESAR related regulation; • follow up EU regulations and identify the requirements to initiate Common Military Positions; • follow up EU strategies and assess impact on the militarylaunching new ones if need be; • contribute with inputs to achieve the objectives capability development plan (CDP) consistent with Member States’ requirements and determine the full range of possibilities to close identified shortfalls. This entails preparing the “Military Aviation Strategy supporting documentation (inter alia food-for-thought papers and reports); • analyse input from the Member States regarding the Collaborative Database and identify possible new areas for maritime capability development and armaments co-operation; • support the Coordinated Annual Review on Defence (CARD) process in all its phases, including through the preparation of CARD bilateral visits in close cooperation with the Cooperation Planning Unit and using the findings to develop tailored advice and support to pMS requirements and to recalibrate conceptual documents (SCC); • support the Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO) process through subject matter expertise, contributing to the assessment of National Implementation Plans (NIPs) as appropriate and, to the assessment of PESCO project proposals in close coordination with the PESCO Unit; • contributing to the assessment of European Defence Industrial Development Programme (EDIDP) and European Defence Fund (EDF) related project proposals upon Member States’ request; • oversee the preparation phase of future programmes in the context of SES” (MAS) in line with the “Military Aviation Strategy Implementation Plan” (XXXXX)maritime domain related to Naval Manoeuvrability, particularly with respect including those related to SESAR Deployment and CNS related topics hybrid warfare; • contribute to develop and maintain the implementation necessary links with a large variety of actors, such as the EU Military Committee, the EU Military Staff, other Council bodies, the European Commission (JRC, FRONTEX, EMSA, etc) and the update of the “participating Member States (Military Aviation Action Plan” (MAAPStaff, Procurement Agencies, etc.); • contribute to ESMAB and SES Expert Communities meetings as required; • support all activities deriving from the “EDA SES Military Aviation Board” (ESMAB) both at policy and management level; • run the “SES Expert Communities” (SEC) related to their function and expertise; • raise awareness on SES/SESAR issues which could have implications on the military; • support relevant unit activities with technical expertise, with establish a focus on ATM and CNS; • execute the activities in the EDA-EUROCONTROL Workplan; • establish and develop the necessary coordination, at staff level, with other SES stakeholders (European Commission, SESAR Joint Undertaking, SESAR Deployment Manager, INEA, EUROCONTROL and Network Manager, NATO, EASA and participating Member States); • provide for the elaboration network of any necessary SES/SESAR related internal or external EDA documentation; • coordinate all SES deployment activities in relation with civil-military coordinationnaval experts; • coordinate with NATO and EUROCONTROL all relevant CapTech moderators on R&T activities with regard to Performance Equivalence and SESAR Deployment; • contribute to in the preparation of EDA Steering Boards, ESMAB meetings, other SEC meetings as well as any other meetings, workshops and events as requiredmaritime domain; • support Member States in all aspects linked to EU funding for SES related activities; • ensure transversal cooperation the EUMSS (European Maritime Security Strategy) and coordination with the other Units and Directorates of the Agencyits Action Plan using Agency resources; • take on additional tasks as required in the interest of the service. DUTIES. Under the supervision of the Head of Unit SES/SESARInformation Superiority, the jobholder will be Project Officer Cyber Education, Training and Exercises (ETE) is responsible for/contribute to for the following activities: • contribute to EDA’s role as interface between keeping the military community and the EU institutions, notably the EC/DG MOVE, and related bodies particularly with respect to the activities pertaining to SESAR Deployment and Communication, Navigation and Surveillance Strategic Context Case (CNSSCC) related topicsCyber Responsive Operations on Cyber ETE topics updated; • facilitate develop proposals to meet the coordination of military views notably with respect to SES Cyber Defence (CD) ETE and SESAR related regulation; • follow up EU regulations and identify the requirements to initiate Common Military Positions; • follow up EU strategies and assess impact on the military; • contribute to achieve the human factors objectives of the “Military Aviation Strategy defined in the context of SES” Capability Development Plan, the Strategic Context Case (MASSCC) in line with the “Military Aviation Strategy Implementation Plan” Cyber Responsive Operations and other EU Cyber Defence/Security Policy documents (XXXXX)e.g. EU Cyber Security Strategy, particularly with respect to SESAR Deployment and CNS related topics ; • contribute to the implementation and the update of the “Military Aviation Action Plan” (MAAPEU Cyber Defence Policy Framework); • contribute to ESMAB assess the CD ETE and SES Expert Communities meetings as required; • contribute the cyber defence ETE and human factors related input to the annual review of the EDA budget plan (3- Year Planning Framework); • establish close relationships with communities of experts in Cyber Defence ETE, including through the exploitation of the EDA’s Collaborative Platform, being able to manage the safe exchange of information in respect of the Agency’s roles in this domain; Under the supervision direction of the Capability, Armament and Planning Director, the Head of Unit SES/SESAR, the jobholder will be Maritime Domain is responsible for/contribute to for the following activities: • contribute to EDA’s role as interface between lead, manage and motivate the military community maritime domain unit including by improving relevant skills and the EU institutions, notably the EC/DG MOVEknowledge, and related bodies particularly with respect to apply the activities pertaining to SESAR Deployment cross-unit and Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) related topics; • facilitate the coordination cross-directorate way of military views notably with respect to SES and SESAR related regulation; • follow up EU regulations and identify the requirements to initiate Common Military Positions; • follow up EU strategies and assess impact on the militaryworking; • contribute effectively to achieve the objectives Agency’s major tasks in prioritization, promotion of collaborative projects in capability development and facilitate towards the EU Commission and EU Agencies for the maritime domain; • apply and contribute with his/her unit to further develop capability development tools, in particular the EU Capability Development Plan (CDP) Priorities, Strategic Context Cases (SCC), Coordinated Annual Review on Defence (CARD) results and Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO) commitments; this entails: • contribute to the update and review of the “Military Aviation Strategy Capability Development Plan (CDP) through in-depth analysis of future trends in the context Maritime Domain - considering specifically new developments trends in the Armaments and Research areas; • keep the SCC Naval Manoeuvrability and Underwater Control updated and use them as the key tool to agree on work programmes with participating Member States (pMS) to be taken forward within the EDA; • support the CARD process in all its phases, including through contributing to the preparation of SES” (MAS) CARD bilateral visits in line close cooperation with the “Military Aviation Strategy Cooperation Planning Unit and using the findings to develop tailored advice and support to pMS requirements and recalibrate conceptual documents (SCC); • contribute to the preparation further development of capabilities, including identifying, promoting and proposing collaborative projects within his area of responsibility; this entails: • supervise and coordinate related Project Teams (PTs) and Ad Hoc Working Groups; • generate and steer Category B Projects for his area of responsibility, including the harmonization of capability requirements; • define the specification of outsourced studies, activities and capability evaluations; • ensure the correct submission of documentation in support of Steering Board decisions on maritime matters; • coordinate with other Heads of Unit to ensure coherence in capability development work (both requirements- and research-based); • coordinate with other Directorates in order to set up appropriate EDA Steering Boardsteams to enable specific cross-cutting / transversal project work; • promote appropriate links with participating Member States, ESMAB meetingsthe EU Military Committee and relevant European Agencies;
