Common use of Equalisation Clause in Contracts

Equalisation. Income equalisation arrangements are applied to all classes of Units. For distributing Units, these arrangements are intended to ensure that the income per Unit which is distributed in respect of a distribution period is not affected by changes in the number of Units in issue during that period. The calculation of equalisation is based on net investment income. All equalisation amounts are disclosed in the Statement of Operations and Changes in Net Assets.
