Common use of 216 Hours of Vacation Clause in Contracts

216 Hours of Vacation. From the two hundred eighty-ninth (289th) full month, to and including all subsequent full months of continuous employment, permanent employees shall accrue vacation leave at the rate of eighteen (18) hours per month of active employment, or the equivalent of up to two-hundred sixteen (216) hours per year (18 hours per month X 12 months = 216 hours per year).
