26Government Priority Policy Areas. The Contractor acknowledges that the Agency is committed to the pursuit of wider policy objectives through procurement. The Contractor shall use its reasonable endeavours to subscribe to and comply with any voluntary charter established by the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) and/or the Efficiency Reform Group (ERG) in support of these objectives outside the formal procurement process. Without limiting Clauses 1.52 or 1.53, the Contractor acknowledges that the Agency is committed to the key policy area of supporting apprenticeships and skills. The Contractor is required to take all reasonable steps to employ apprentices, and report to the Agency the numbers of apprentices employed and wider skills training provided, during the delivery of this Contract upon request. The Contractor shall make available to its employees working on the Contract, information about the Government’s apprenticeship programme and wider skills opportunities. The Contractor shall provide any appropriate further skills training opportunities for employees delivering the Services.
