28Health and Safety and Minimum Wage Act. The Contractor shall promptly notify the Agency of any health and safety hazards which may arise in connection with the performance of its obligations under the Contract. The Agency shall promptly notify the Contractor of any health and safety hazards which may exist or arise at the Agency Premises and which may affect the Contractor in the performance of its obligations under the Contract. While on the Agency Premises, the Contractor shall comply with any health and safety measures implemented by the Agency in respect of Staff and other persons working there. The Contractor shall inform all Staff engaged in the provision of the Services of all known health and safety hazards and shall instruct those Staff in connection with any necessary safety measures. The Contractor shall notify the Agency immediately in the event of any incident occurring in the performance of its obligations under the Contract on the Agency Premises where that incident causes any personal injury or damage to property which could give rise to personal injury. The Contractor shall comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Xxx 0000 and any other acts, orders, regulations and codes of practice relating to health and safety, which may apply to Staff and other persons working on the Agency Premises in the performance of its obligations under the Contract. The Contractor shall ensure that its health and safety policy statement (as required by the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974) is made available to the Agency on request. The Contractor shall ensure that any risk assessments or similar documentation are made available to the Agency on request. The Contractor shall ensure that, where appropriate, Staff are paid at least the national minimum wage in accordance with the National Minimum Wage Xxx 0000 or the National equivalent of other countries.

  • Occupational Health and Safety Act The Employer, the Union and the employees agree to be bound by the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, S.N.S. 1996, c.7.

  • Health and Safety Requirements The Contractor and his subcontractors ensure at all times compliance with safety regulations imposed by any Act of Parliament, ordinance or any regulation or by¬law of any local or statutory authority. The person so appointed shall, on request:  Supply the Eskom Safety Officer with copies of minutes of all Health and Safety Committee meetings, whenever he is required to do so;  Supply the Eskom Safety Officer with copies of all appointments in respect of employees employed on this contract, in terms of the Act and Regulations and shall advise the Eskom Safety Officer of any changes thereto. Eskom may, at any stage during the currency of this agreement, be entitled to:  Do safety audits at the Contractor’s premises, its work-places and on its employees;  Refuse any employee, sub-contractor or agent of the Contractor access to its premises if such person has been found to commit any unlawful act or any unsafe working practice or is found to be not authorised or qualified in terms of the Act;

  • Health and Safety Standards Contractor shall abide by all health and safety standards set forth by the State of California and/or the County of Xxxxxx pursuant to the Injury and Illness Prevention Program. If applicable, Contractor must receive all health and safety information and training from County.

Xxxxxx shall prepare and submit under separate cover from the Work Plan, a Health and Safety Plan consistent with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations. The Health and Safety Plan shall be submitted to the Department in the form of one electronic copy on compact disk (in .pdf format). Xxxxxx agrees that the Health and Safety Plan is submitted to the Department only for informational purposes. The Department expressly disclaims any liability that may result from implementation of the Health and Safety Plan by Xxxxxx. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

  • HEALTH AND SAFETY AT WORK The Supplier shall undertake its obligations arising hereunder and in all Contracts in accordance with the OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System or equivalent. Both parties shall take all necessary measures to ensure the health and safety of the other party’s employees and agents visiting their premises. The Supplier shall notify the Authority of any use of substances listed under COSHH regulations or the Montreal Protocol in the provision of the Services.

  • Employee Health and Safety A. When the University requires an employee to use or wear health or safety equipment, such equipment will be provided by the University.
