Common use of (a) - Normal Work Day Clause in Contracts

(a) - Normal Work Day. The normal work day shall be eight (8) hours and the normal work week shall be forty (40) hours. All hours worked at the hourly rate in excess of eight (8) hours in any one (1) day or forty (40) hours in any one (1) week shall be paid at one and one-half (1 1/2) times the regular rate of pay.

All hours worked at the hourly rate in excess of eight (8) hours in any one (1) day or forty (40) hours in any one (1) week shall be paid at one and one-half (1 1/2) times the regular rate of pay.

All hours worked at the hourly rate in excess of eight nine and one half (8) 9 ½) hours in any one (1) day or forty forty-seven and one half (4047 ½) hours in any one (1) week shall be paid at one and one-half (1 1/21½) times the regular rate of pay.

(a) - Normal Work Day. The normal work day shall be eight (8) hours and the normal work week shall be forty (40) hours. All hours worked at the hourly rate in excess of eight (8) hours in any one (1I) day or forty (40) hours in any one (1I) week shall be paid at one and one-half (1 1/2) times the regular rate of pay. The Company has a right to establish four (4) day, ten (10) hour Monday to Friday bids if mutually agreed to by the Local Union involved and reduced to writing.
