Common use of Absence Due to Injury or Illness Clause in Contracts

Absence Due to Injury or Illness. Incurred in the course of the teacher's employment which is covered by worker's compensation, the Board agrees to pay the difference between worker's compensation allowance and the teacher's regular salary to the limit of said teacher's accumulated leave days for the balance of the school year only.
