Personal Floating Holiday. This section becomes effective September 1st, 1978. This Personal Floating Holiday is in lieu of the proposed Heritage Day, but this section shall come into operation on its effective date even if Heritage Day has or has not been proclaimed.
Personal Floating Holiday. Regular full-time employees will be granted one (1) Personal Floating Holiday during each contract year of this Agreement, to be arranged at a time suitable to the Employee and the Company, so that there will be no loss of production.

Personal Floating Holiday. The Employer is in agreement to add two (2) additional leave days per calendar year starting January 1, 2012. These days will be called Personal Floating Holidays. The employee must request these days, in writing, at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the requested day off. The final approval of the request rests with the Police Chief, or Captain. Note: Employees working eight (8) hour shifts will be eligible for two (2) eight (8) hour leave days. Employees working twelve (12) hour shifts will be eligible for two (2) twelve (12) hour leave days. Personal Holidays are earned on a calendar year basis and are non-accumulative. Personal Holidays not used within the calendar year shall be credited and payment made to the employee in January.

Personal Floating Holiday. Floating Holidays There shall be granted annually five (5) Special (Personal) Floating Holidayswith pay to regular full-time employees, such special holidays to be arranged at a time suitable to the employee and the Company, during the contract year, so that there will be no loss of production. Effective May there shall be five (5) twelve hour special personal floating holidays provided to those employees who are defined as tour workers. Employees who normally work a combination of and hour shifts will be paid as per the schedule for the week in which takes a Floating Holiday.
Personal Floating Holiday. Employees shall be granted a floating holiday, with twenty- eight (28) days' prior notice given to the Supervisor/Market Manager if the holiday is taken between December 15 and January 5, and 14 days prior notice if the holiday is taken at any other time of year. Not more than twenty percent (20%) of staff, to a minimum of one employee, shall be allowed to take the same day off.

When the Personal Floating Holiday is taken, an employee shall be paid for the said holiday at his regular job rate of pay for his regular work schedule, subject to the following conditions: A new employee must have been on the payroll for not less than ninety (90) An employee will not qualify for the Personal Floating Holiday if on leave of absence for more than nine (9) months in the contract year, except in the case of sickness or injury. An employee shall apply on an approved form, at least seven (7) days in advance, for his Personal Floating Holiday. The employee shall receive notice of the disposition of his request a minimum of seventy-two (72) hours prior to the requested Personal Floating Holiday. If an employee is required to work on his Personal Floating Holiday after a definite date has been designated for such holiday, the employee shall be paid overtime for such work at the rate of time and one-half. The employee will then be entitled to take the holiday with pay at a later date to be mutually agreed upon. Personal Floating Holiday not taken or scheduled by April of each contract year will be scheduled by Management.
